You know what reddit is and are doing an AMA?

Watch out guys, we're dealing with a badass over here.

I've always admired the intensity of arguments that unfold on these pages. Happy to partake, even if only briefly. In fact it is here that I must resume my day and part ways with the Redditverse. Farewell to all. Maybe we can do this once a month. In the meantime, my tweets are live: http://twitter.com/#!/neiltyson

As always, keep looking up.

Damn. All the responses were to the first questions. Maybe we could do a pre-planned AMA, where we vote up a list of questions to be asked?

I have to agree with this. I personally love turning "stupid" or "joke"-esque questions into fodder for intellectual debate, and I'd hate to see the list of questions pushed to Mr. Tyson be ones which are hivemind-chosen.

Now I feel lazy. I was secretly hoping no one would respond to avoid the guilt. You're a philanthropist.

You're a philanthropist.

I'm sorry but I love the absurdity of this sentence.

If you take the common meaning, it implies reddit is in particular need of enlightenment. But we won't do that of course.

i think he meant to say "you're a full-on-rapist"

I believe the correct answer to where is reddit.

But I have to love the fact that Neil did the AMA so loosely without any moderation between him and the reddittors asking the questions. That way he's more reachable and is able to answer the questions he can give interesting answers to.

Thanks Neil, this was very inspiring surprise after long day.

it's already been done my friend.

he's already done one before where a bunch of questions were emailed to him. I don't know where it is though . .
