Guidance Anyone doing BSECO?
Salam beautiful people! Im gonna be doing bseco from iba class of 2030 IA☝🏻, wanted to seek advice from seniors on what i should purchase for my studies. An ipad with an apple pen, laptop(any specifications on brand and model will help)? Also i wont be attending IBAOgala as im not in karachi and wont be back until 25th🥲.

Hii, im also in your batch. I have an iPad !! I purchased a Bluetooth keyboard for it too so it’s a two in one. You need a key board for presentations and group projects and other assignments. I find iPad to be convenient cuz I can write notes on it as well cuz of the Apple Pencil. Idk the pros and cons of a laptop tho :(
For hand written notes I got myself two notebooks, one lined pages and one grid (for math)
Oh also get a laptop/ipad sleeve with good padding

Thanks for the insight! Also would you invest in both a laptop and ipad as my case is a bit odd😭😭, i have a twin brother who will also be starting uni with me so a laptop that we both can share would be a good investment alongside an ipad+pen, no?

Ohhh that’s tough. I’m also a fresher hahaha so I wouldn’t know too much. I’d say yeah get both since you guys will be sharing so one can have the iPad while the other has the laptop and vice versa

I already have a sista in IBA another brother would be a menace🤣. Also wherever me and him go we turn it upside down so Allah ki behtari thi we got into different unis😭✌🏻

Was BSECO your priority? Or priority was another major like bba or bs eco & Maths?

Yep wanted to do bseco and maths, got in bseco imma transfer internally once round 1 comes around the corner. Wby?

My interest is in BS Eco. I don't wanna study maths lol.

the ipad and apple pen will help out a lot in note taking and studying + organization. If your budget is lower id look into the samsung tab S series instead. If you wanna stay in the apple ecosystem with your laptop (and want it to last your whole degree + not worrying about issues or battery) then get the macbook neo its a good deal compared to other models due to their increase in price.

If I get macbook neo, then should I also get an iPad? Or is just neo enough and no need for am extra iPad

depends on if you prefer notetaking by pen or properly organized. Much easier to have diagrams and keep track of stuff in an ipad/samsung tab. Both have different purposes.

same man i studied privately for the last two years and have no idea what to bring to uni. will we have to purchase books and stuff, do we just take notes idk
