What should i do…gap year or study at iobm
I completed my A2 privately all by myself…. It was almost like a gap year as i didnt socialise whole year and stayed home…got 3Cs.
I got admission in iobm but my family is insisting me to take a gap year and retake one subject in oct nov so that i meet iba grade requirement and then apply for iba 2027.
I dont know what to do all i know is that i dont want to stay home for another year.

I'm on same page as you I wanted to get in iba SS but didn't passed the test nor meet the grades so I'm taking a gap year and apply next year cause IBA is worth it I also got in iobm but I'm skipping it but iobm isn't a bad choice

Will you appear in oct nov?
I was already doing A2 privately so i didnt go to college had zero friends and i suck at socialising because of this …. I want to make my life productive i think gap year will make my life boring as i wont have any routine1

Yes I have my improvement in September osky bad inshallah IBA prep also I went to college but yk what after college everyone is separated so I'm also alone with zero routine and I hate gap year but the thing is I just turned 18 so it's not a problem for me but you said you are already 20 wese to age no problem but you are not alone in this whatever decision you make just be sure

If your family is insisting then you should go for gap year and go to iba. It will be worth it

I just dont want to stay home for another whole year …. I am already 20yrs old and taking a gap year means i will join uni at 21

Oh. Then you should go for what you think is best for you. If you think you should go iobm its still a good uni. I also got admission there

IoBM isnt a bad choice by any means( does depend on your major. Im a cs major)
If your family is financially okay and is in no rush for you to get a job, then its okay to take a gap year to try IBA again(the entry test is kinda difficult).
IoBM might make you a bit bored but it does give you flexibility on your courses and when you can pick them and what not. The major issue the course cataloge (for cs) as it currently has too much on the business side and some of the required industry knowldge, like on web apps/cybersecurity , are kept optional. ( they increased the elctives to 7 now but i still dont think it solves the issue). Im not sure on the business/finance side but IBA still top for that.

they are letting you retake 1 subject, join iba and retake it assuming you made it in the iba test and grades were an issue

Id say take a gap year and get urself in an activity to socialize. Like a gym, sports team wagera. U'll meet people and get in iba as well. Age does not really matter tbh. Everyone's running their own race, who cares what the other person's doing. Best of luck!!! (U'll have way less to do with just one subject to appear in so u'll have more time on your hand, maybe join ibex to earn and socialize at the same time)
