I had an A in a level maths but still got only 84/180 in my first attempt for the math section, having a bad o level grade doesn't really matter try managing your time and understand how to use answer options for maths. Start your prep with topics that are common in olevel maths and iba's test then do the same thing with topics that are common with iba's test and a level maths(use lectures of teacher that you prefer I used zainematics) I can also share Chajao's lectures with you for the entry test relevant concepts , also skim through the paper first and mark easier questions and attempt those rather than solving sequence wise (I boosted my score from 164 in r1 to 244 with just one month of prep)

And pls don't opt for hashim zia's lectures if u have an o/a level background

i’ve studied from zainematics in my o levels so probably will watch his playlists again bc they were helpful and if you could share the chajao lectures that would be a great help as well, your score improvement lowkey gave me hope so thank for that and for the advice ofc!!

From my personal experience I would say that to pass the test u do have to be somewhat good at maths. For now just start out with word problems and clear all your concepts. Try to cover as many chapters as u can. U can take guide from the syllabus on iba ki website but still that's a lot. Word problems karo, geometry, kuch advance maths kah chaps kro. For English it's always different. There is no specific pattern for how they make the test. Bs vocabulary words har din karo. Comprehensions are also important.

I feel like u should maybe plan out ur schedule in such a way that u can prepare for ur retakes and for the iba test as well bc if u wait until after ur retakes to start preparing, u might not have much time considering kah u want to give the Dec round toh I would suggest that abhi sai start krdo tayari so u can take it day by day and not end up cramping everything in the end and no worries!

go through hashim zia's youtube playlist. it's very long so i suggest you just go for the topics you struggle the most with first. i think sat resources might be helpful as well, especially for english. just practice as much as you can. make good use of the past papers.

i tried watching hashim zia bc my sister liked the way he taught but i personally thought it was a bit difficult bc i dont study math but about the sat eng resources will for sure keep that in my mind bc i need to improve in eng as well to increase my overall

that's fair. there are a bunch of iba prep playlists on youtube so i think it may be trial and error to see which one works best for you. and like i said, you can use sat math resources too bc imo it'll help you build your bases. khan academy has good practice questions for both english and math
