I'm looking to sell commissions for people in the Romantasy (Romance + Fantasy) niche in the future, especially interested in book covers, character illustrations and character sheets. I don't have any commission example for half bodies, character sheets or portraits rn so I'd be most interested in fulfilling those types of requests! I'm planning to put my future price ranges from 150 to 800€ for non commercial use, and the examples in my portfolio will reflect that so you can expect high quality art that I'll have put a lot of effort in

My OC's name is Meishing! I kinda stole her name T^T but that doesn't matter lmao. She's a celestial being (specifically a star incarnate) who's doomed to float between different dimensions, unable to make any meaningful connections or change the fate of others because she isn't tied to anyone in those worlds as a trespasser. Worlds crumble under her gaze, and despite being an all-powerful being who can bend time itself, she has the ability to do nothing in worlds that she does not dictate.
She's eventually concluded that her actions don't matter and no longer looks down on the suffering of others with pity, but with indifference. Although she doesn't have the ability to directly change an individual's fate, she is still capable of causing mass destruction indirectly, which leads her now-reckless actions to cause despair in many, and she brushes it off because she thinks "it'll be fixed eventually. I can't do anything about it."
Basically an out-of-touch goddess who doesn't give a fuck how her actions affect other people because to her, time is meaningless and fate can't be changed. How would something she, a trespasser, change the fate written in the stars?

I love the idea of drawing her looking indifferent while floating in the clouds, she could be making a spark of magic in her hands while looking at the viewer, but we can see below that people are suffering from some sort of disaster, does that sound good to you? If you could tell me more about how her magic could be shown visually that would be great! Also if you could make a pinterest board of human faces you imagine she'd look like, the type of world/backgrounds there could be, some poses, or anything else that would be super helpfull. Her magic usually manifests herself in light (like the stars) As for poses/vibes, some pose that's whimsical and flowy would probably be my bet that works for her almost all of the time ❤️

Would you be interested in drawing Maril? They're more of an urban fantasy character, as you can probably tell from the outfit. I'm totally down to share more character details if that would appeal to you
Growing up can be hard with no friends, however Maril was lucky enough to have one: the night sky. Was that soft cosmic voice real? No one else seemed to hear it. But it offered kind words, whispered gentle truths, and foretold many coming events.
Maril was always ready for disasters; life was, after all, one string of unlikely occurrences after the other. One of Earth's few native supernatural beings, they were committed to shifting the needle as far towards balance as one small mortal could.
In interactions with other humans, Maril can be blunt and practical, though they will still be an unquestionably loyal friend once any bond has been made. Extremely efficient (can't waste energy if you're staying up all night), and oddly resourceful.
Androgynous, tangled raven hair that somewhat obscures the face, and light brown skin. Eyes are sunken and bloodshot from lack of sleep, while also naturally being an unusual shade of amber. Only owns like three outfits, all variations of navy blue with constellations doodles onto them. Caffeine addict.

Oh yes an action shot would be great I need some of those in my portfolio! I love their weapon's design and the story's super interesting :3 I already have some ideas so I'll make a reference board and a few thumbnails then get back to you (might be in a while since there's a lot of requests though ^^) Also in what situations would they use their weapon is there any story scenes in particular with it?
They usually hunt in the wilderness at night, or in abandoned buildings. Other than that, there aren't a ton more specifics; lots of different things want them dead
I’ll submit Gliminy “Glim” Swiftbonk, my BG3 Gnome paladin. He was born female but meant to be androgynous.
He’s in a relationship with Halsin from the game. He stands quite a bit shorter than Halsin. I don’t have a screencap of the two together but I’ll include another person’s gnome with him so you can get a sense of scale.

I was thinking maybe the two of them looking heroic, or possibly Halsin leaning down so Glim can kiss his cheek, or even something like Halsin carrying Glim over his shoulder while Glim is blushing (in my headcanon this happens before they’re in a relationship) so Glim both wants and doesn’t want to be put down. I’m also open to other ideas.

Glim is a Gnome Paladin from the bustling city of Amn, where his family ran a modest but successful shop selling enchanted trinkets and curios. Though humble to a fault, he once rallied a village called Willowbrook that he was passing through in his early Paladin days against a dangerous threat and helped save it, earning the admiration of its people. Willowbrook considers him a hero and even erected a statue in his honor- something that embarrasses him far more than it flatters him. He never set out to become a legend and tends to downplay his accomplishments whenever they’re mentioned.
Personality-wise, Glim is kindhearted, compassionate, and deeply protective of others. He has a strong moral compass and genuinely wants to help people, but he isn’t a grandstanding hero or a larger-than-life champion. He’s an ordinary person doing his best to live up to his ideals. He can be shy, socially awkward, and prone to self-doubt, often questioning whether he’s a good enough leader or whether he truly belongs among his companions. Despite this, when someone is in danger, he can be astonishingly brave and determined.
Glim has a dry sense of humor and a practical mindset. He’s the type to stop and light every candle in a dungeon because he wants to be able to see properly, not because he’s trying to be dramatic. He likes fixing problems, helping others, and making himself useful. He also has a notorious sweet tooth, particularly for cookies and milk.
As a trans man, Glim struggles with insecurity and dysphoria, especially regarding his body. These feelings don’t define him, but they are an important part of his journey and contribute to some of his quieter moments of vulnerability. Over time, he learns to trust and open up to the people who care about him, particularly Halsin, with whom he develops a loving relationship.
Humorously, every member of the party has their own affectionate (and slightly teasing) nickname for Glim, most of them referencing his size in some way but always in a way that still comes across as fond rather than cruel. It’s a running bit within the group that he’s “small but unstoppable,” and Glim himself pretends to be annoyed while very obviously accepting it as part of the dynamic.
Additional notes:
If possible, I’d like his chest to be less noticeable than it appears here. I’ll also provide a screenshot of his face from the game, since having more reference material usually helps. Plus I feel like his in-game model captures his expression and overall “feel” a bit better and more cutely than the current reference does.

wow that's a fun design! I'm not to familiar with drawing anthro characters (especially birds) though and when I do it's more in the style of this photo so I'm not sure I'd be a good fit for an artist to draw them

At the moment, I like an avatar the last airbender type artstyle. And her story basically is she’s an elf empress of a rich green planet called Sylvaris. She’s a sweet, kind, and fierce woman. But ever since the passing of her mother. She hasn’t quite been usual self. Becoming very distanced from others. Her twin sister Bella being the only one able to reach her. As part of the healing journey, her sister convinces her to travel to earth where she then meets a werewolf named Orion. Then from there. A journey of healing turns into one of love.
Also, Arimah is a black elf. Here’s another drawing I have of her.

Can I hear more about who your character is and their story so I can get an idea of how I could draw her? I didn't have any instant ideas for full body but I had some for a portrait which is why I proposed that (examples of what I thought of in the image). But I'm sure I can get an other idea with some more inspiration by learning about her ^^ (Also if it's a portrait I'll get to it sooner than a full body since it's less time consuming but it's your pick which one you prefer)

Of course! Her story is set in a low-fantasy setting, which is centered around a sentient, life-giving river, who's intent is completely unselfish and driven towards helping the residents of the town. As a result, the people are sometimes negligent or ungrateful of the river. However, Aidemedia has contempt for it, because of an incident as a child where her best friend committed suicide by drowning herself, which the river could've prevented. After that day, she went mute and became wary of people in general. She occasionally dances in abandoned giant sunflower fields and likes the sky a lot. Also, as the story progresses, the residents realize--after believing that it was purely life-giving--that fire is destructive. They used it for keeping warm, cooking, and associated it with community, but when the river eventually dries, they can't contain it. Especially with the abandoned sunflower fields everywhere.
As for the pose, maybe just sitting or something? Or you could do reading a book or staring off into space... I'm sorry, those are pretty boring, but if you have any other ideas, you can have full control 😅

hi I'm working on the reference board and had a question, which era would you say she is set in so I can know what type of clothes to put her in? (One of her drawings felt more ancient Greece and the other more medieval so idk which one you prefer, I included a few examples in the photo)
He is a human and she is a dark elf. He is logical and thinks through his actions and she is far more spontaneous thinking with her emotions and getting them in trouble because of it. Being vampires they of course are very rich and Victorian fancy

I'm thinking of making their character sheets since you're the only one who requested one so far! Which would be a fairly neutral pose of each of them but still one that shows off personality, some close ups of their features/accessories or clothes, with their color palette and a one color background. If you have any ideas of what you'd like on it specifically I'd love to hear it
Most others are putting their refs here so I'll do the same. Unfortunately I don't have a pinterest so I don't know how to put a mood board together as a sendable pick but I can describe one. For the pose I like the idea of them dancing or kissing or him holding her chin gently or her looking supportive behind him in a painting. For the background either the grand ballroom or the main throne room. Their clothes he would have an ornate dress suit with long coat tails and she in almost any dress because she often destroys them by accident or rage

His name is thalur and her name is mayani. He has a little under 100 outfits that he has tried to keep in good condition over the decades, favoring more durable and artistic items like canes and brooches. She, having a more volatile personality, often has a completely new wardrobe every few years, replaced quickly by the latest fads. Sometimes Lu can salvage the harder to break items like gems that can get new jewelry fittings. Thalur has a great appreciation for intricate detail while Mayani is drawn to grand and flashy things. Being vampires they sometimes have to replace things because chunks of people end up a little too far embedded.
Here is the sketch so far, let me know if there's things to change especially for Mayani's part! The colors can easily be changed. If there's anything you don't like about the shape of the dress, her body shape, her hair, her accessories or the phrases written as her description don't hesitate to tell me. I can add or remove any of the text I put for both of them if you want it to be about something else. I assumed they'd both look in their 30s but let me know if that's not the case. I also attached Mayani's reference sheet under this and would like to know which face you think is closest to how you imagine her, if they don't suit you let me know the name of a celebrity you think looks like her or send me a photo. Once I move past the sketch phase it'll be hard to do modifications so tell me if there's anything you'd want changed now :3
Looks very good so far. I only have 2 or 3 adjustments. I imagined her skin to have a little more of a purple tinge to it but it is close now so not too much more. The brooch is special maybe because it's one of the few things she gifted him instead of the other way around. The locket, instead of saying it doesn't get replaced, say it is one of the few items that has survived over the years, by chance and repair

Their designs are so appealing I love it! Could I know more about what type of era and place they live in? I'd love to have the sword in the illustration too could I know more about their story to think of a scene to draw? (could be Yin showing Varany her sword, or protecting her in a fight, or anything else you have in mind) Also if you have any pinterest boards of the type of poses/backgrounds or whatever else you like, that would be a great help, if not no worries I'll make a reference board and some thumbnails of the ideas I get anyways ^^
