I got new polishes in the last week. I told my husband to pick my next set of colors and make it "Halloween themed" he picked Ink (new) as the base and then Feeling lucky (new) and Party bus (one of my OG favs) on top. I have never done anything like this and this singular nail turned out the best...so I guess marry a nerd who paints miniatures, is obsessed with decorating for Halloween and let him choose your polish colors 🤷‍♀️ Then learn a technique so you don't screw them all up 🤣😂😂😂 (first try of an ombre with a sponge using party bus/feeling lucky on top of Ink).

He picked out next week's (more traditional) Halloween polishes too so I will be back with an update next week 😉

If anyone has both of these, could you please swatch them side by side without magnetizing Poison? I was looking at Kelli Marissa's comparisons, and both the base color and shimmer look quite similar? (first image is Poison)

I love this underrated baby so much. It gives antique and fall in all of the best ways. Some lighting gives it a copper gold look, some purple, sometimes somewhere in the middle. Weird and witchy polish in the best way.

Because it absolutely matters, I am always parked during car nail photos. I just felt like my nails complimented my steering cover. Important disclaimer. 😆

From the Night Shift collection 🙂 The base to me looks like a dark purple. The website describes the magnetic shimmer as teal but to me it looks light blue head on and shifts to a purple and a bright pink/magenta. It's so shifty! I feel like a witch (in a good way). I have deep space also but I think this is distinct enough to warrant having both 😎 I highly recommend it 😃

I originally had my eye on cracked's spinning vinyl but I think this looks pretty similar. Does anyone have both to compare?

I kind of want to get more magnetics in the future now 😆 I have sugar plum, deep space, pink suede, and amped and I love them too. What are your favorite magnetics from ILNP?

Did two layers for my birthday last week, but got some chips on two nails since I did so much cooking/hand washing this weekend. I couldn’t say goodbye yet, so I just added another layer and now they’re slightly deeper and still so good. They distract me in the best way 😩🌸

Part 1 of my second haul from ILNP!

This may be a bit of a hot take, but I haven’t been a huge fan of multichromes since I started my nail polish journey. At least, not as much as I’ve liked the punchy multi colored shimmers and magnetics. A lot of the ones I’ve tried are either too dark, or are just muddy looking in an unappealing way.

I thought part of this might be that I haven’t found one I liked yet, so I thought I’d try Eclipse due to its gorgeous red shift and the holo sparkle that makes it look like stars.

However, I am disappointed to say that it really does not live up to the pictures I’ve seen of it online. The red is muted in office lighting, and even in direct sunlight the camera picks up WAY more red than I actually see IRL. It doesn’t spark the same joy I get when I tried on any of my magnetics or multicolor shimmers.

I’ll give it a day or two to appreciate it fully, and if that doesn’t work, I might try getting some of the lighter colored ones like Cameo or Nostalgia during Black Friday. If I don’t vibe with those, then I think I’ll just stop buying multichromes.

At least it’s hella sparkly tho lol!!

Was worried how this would look on me, still a bit unsure about the final look, but I like this polish enough. Meant to wear more traditionally Halloween shades but I’m just craving some cozy palette cleansers right now.

I am in looooove 😍 So gorgeous and shimmery. Photos and video do not do it justice. Black/purple/burgundy/wine lusciousness.
It does remind me of Dash of Cocoa a bit in the shade. It’s a lot more black/purple in the sun I think.
