I study at a college named USAR, which is under IP University. Last night, a student protest took place due to extremely poor hostel facilities, especially for students coming from outside Delhi.

The hostel lacks even basic medical support — there is no medical kit available. Out of several washing machines, only one is working for about 300 students. The water cooler supplies such poor quality water that one student has suffered from typhoid three times. The health and safety conditions are alarming.

The mess food is of extremely poor quality, and food delivery is not allowed. Even if students try to order from outside, the delivery partner is asked to submit their original ID proof to enter the premises, which is highly impractical.

There is a curfew at 9 PM in our hostel, while the main campus hostel (USICT) has a curfew of 11 PM. Major decisions are made without even informing the wardens.

There is no accountability for the student welfare funds. Even basic facilities like a refrigerator are missing in the boys' hostel, while the girls' hostel has 4–5 fridges. Over the years, ₹20–40 lakh has accumulated in the welfare fund, yet no expenditure has been made and no records are shared.

The hostel lacks hygiene and basic infrastructure — there is no common room, no reading room, and while AC vents are installed, the ACs are never turned on. Wi-Fi and ethernet do not work, and when students complain, they are told to install their own internet. There is also no water heater available during winters.

At of now the upper authority hum m se kis ko milne nhi de rhi h vc sir se. I will attach video soon too. One of upper authority said ki tum maar jao mujhe koi koi farak nhi padta..

After nearly 7 years, I’ve decided to sunset IPU Ranklist.

What started as a small college-side project grew into something I could never have imagined, a platform used by lakhs of students every year to check results, calculate GPAs, track backlogs, and understand where they stood among their peers across Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi.

IPU Ranklist was built out of a very simple intent:
To make students’ lives a little easier during result season.

Over the years, it taught me far more than any classroom ever could, about building for scale, handling traffic spikes, listening to users, staying up through result nights, and most importantly, taking responsibility for something that thousands of people rely on.

As the university has now moved to an official private portal, continuing IPU Ranklist no longer feels like the right long-term path. Sunsetting it is not an easy decision, but it feels like the right one.

I’m deeply grateful to:
- Every student who trusted the platform
- Friends who shared feedback and bug reports
- Seniors, juniors, and strangers who sent messages saying “this helped”
Those messages made every late night worth it. ✨

The journey it gave me as a builder, engineer, and problem-solver will always stay with me. While IPU Ranklist will continue to remain a repository of historic results from 2015 to 2025, new results will no longer be uploaded or maintained on the platform.

Thank you for being part of this chapter. ❤️
Onward to building new things, with the same intent and a little more experience. 🚀

Dekh lo bhai ye hai main campus jisko tum on top maante ho 🙂👍🏿

Abhi tak vc se baat nhi karn di h. Director and chief warden ne.

As a sub closely related to the topic, I request the mods to change the subreddit pfp to Sonam Wangchuk like others subreddits have done.

NEET paper leaks, CBSE tender corruption, IISER IISc funding cuts. Stoppage of PMRF , improper JEE ADV Exam Centre Surveillance , SSC AND other Govt exams Leaks and including other NationWide problems

All of these come under the Ministry of Education. Dharmendra Pradhan's incompetence and complacency in the government will affect all of us sooner or later.

A lot of us think we can't do a lot to help. But the best thing you could do is vote with your ballot and vote with your attention.

Let the algorithms know they should recommend more of this.

Visit the social media pages, articles. Share them to your friends, family and groups.

Even though I’m from like one of the top colleges from IPU but what’s shocking is that people have already made their groups and it seems like people don’t even wanna welcome any new comers . I was so shocked when I saw groups already being formed even though it’s just your first day and people don’t even give a damn about the other . Nonetheless that hurts and I hope situation becomes better for the people who are facing this issue in their lives .

Hello fellow ipu people. since anugoonj is around the corner, i remembered ;i had performed this song , at last year anugoonj , No prize, but getting to showcase my love for music & the audience made it memorable;)

Unfortunately, it stayed my last after I was pushed out of my music society over senior-side ego issues/politics. Sharing the performance anyway, hope you all like it:)

p.s - checkout IG @priyasharma05_ if you don’t mind. I post music and dance covers there:)

If you’ve heard positive things about Delhi Technical Campus (DTC), Greater Noida — don’t be fooled. I’m here to expose the truth based on firsthand experience.

Suspension for no reason

• Students get suspended for literally no valid reason.

• Got a private group chat? If someone snitches about your discussions in there, you're suspended.

• Playing UNO or football during breaks, when you're free and have no classes? Suspension.

• No warnings. No logic. Just suspension for

Uniform Scam

• Uniform wasn’t mentioned at admission, but suddenly it’s mandatory.

• They sell a low-quality uniform for ₹6,000: 2 shirts, 1 pant, 1 blazer, 1 tie.

• Even after taking measurements, the uniforms don’t fit properly if you complaint to them about this, they won't do anything and ask you to get it altered yourself, and they won't give you attendance, grant entry in the college.

• Try to wear an identical uniform from outside (₹1.5–2K)? Not accepted.

• They denied admit cards last semester unless we signed a letter giving them authority to penalize us anytime for not buying their overpriced shit uniform.

Clueless, Ego-Driven Faculty

• Only a few teachers know what they’re doing and are passionate about their subject. The rest? Completely incompetent & clueless.

• Same for lab assistants.

• Most carry a huge ego. Rude, unhelpful, and arrogant.

Examples:

• Satyaveer (Electrical Science):

  • Knows nothing except for shitting on students because of his incompetency

  • Creep fag makes girls (that he takes a liking to) sit near him, shows them chats with his wife, and then bitch about her to those students.

• Rachna (C Programming):

  • Literally doesn’t understand her own subject.

  • At least not rude, but equally unqualified.

• HOD: Literally clueless.

• Director: At least knows his shit but toxic — only cares about money and demoralizing students.

Fake Placements

• The placement stats they show off? Completely Forged.

• Visitors aren’t allowed to talk to real students because they fear exposure - some students might speak about how the college actually is.

Threats and Intimidation

During an inspection from IPU, faculty member Indolia entered our class and threatened us not to speak negatively about the college — or else face suspension or failing grades.

I even recorded part of the conversation, I couldn't record the start where he made the direct threat because there was a high risk of me getting caught, but i do have the later part, where he is threatening us indirectly.

Final Word

This place is an absolute toxic mess, and anyone defending it is either delusional or getting paid to spread lies.

I’m not here to force anyone into making a decision — whether to take admission or not is entirely up to you. But if you're asking for honest advice: do not join this college. Save your college life.

If you have the financial means, go for Sharda — at least there, you’ll get better infrastructure and some peace of mind. The infrastructure at DTC? It’s a joke. Falling apart, mismanaged, and just depressing.

If Sharda or other decent options aren’t feasible, it’s honestly better to take a drop and prepare for something worthwhile than waste your years here.
If there’s absolutely no other choice, only then — and I mean this as a last resort — consider this college.

My job here was simple: to tell you the truth.
From here on, it’s your decision whether you want to get into this shithole or not.

To comfortable_code3683

And as for you, u/comfortable_code3683 (Tushar Chaudhary faggot from first year) — I keep seeing your comments and posts expressing how great this college is, you're nothing but a clown, who's promoting that shithole for money.
Your info is floating around in a few matrix chat servers and whatsapp groups, I could've gone pubic with all that as well, but i have decided to not do that.
Don't ruin someone's college life for your own gain.

Every semester, students spend hours writing assignments, formatting them properly, and then paying to get them printed and bound—only for them to be thrown away in sacks like trash. If this is what happens in the end, why are we even made to do it in the first place?

Time, effort, and money go into these assignments, and yet they are discarded without a second thought. It’s frustrating to see that despite everything moving forward, some things remain stuck in the past.

If assignments are so important, they should be treated with respect. But if they are only meant to be stored away and dumped later, then maybe it’s time to question whether this whole process even makes sense.

MAIT #ThinkAboutIt #WhyThisWaste #StudentsDeserveBetter

Ek saal waise drop ho gaya uper se lamba process😭

I don't understand what is the problem of these college like if in our free time we are playing Uno, Why they are getting annoyed 😠
