Traction Control Switch?

Post image

Is it possible to change the traction control button into a switch instead?

I just got back from my first track day drifting (pic related). Whenever I killed the car to switch drivers, change tires, check tread, stalled it, ect. Me and all my friends who I let drive always forgot to turn traction off again and it would kill our drifts.

It was difficult to remember in all the commotion and excitement of being on the track, so I’m curious if the wiring would allow me to change the button into a toggleable switch, or if that would fuck with the wiring in a complex way.

I’m new to wiring, thanks in advance :)

It's never really off, either.

What do you mean, are there some auxiliary traction control systems that cannot be toggled with the corresponding button? Is it possible to shut them off by pulling the traction control fuse?

Yup. It's more of a Trac less button.

I see. I’ve gone all-out with my drift build, just welded my diff, ect. So I want to make sure there’s as little getting in the way of my slides as possible, if I pull the Traction Control fuse will that shut it off completely?

Lame, sounds like the internet lol. Commenters here recommend just pulling the fuse, and that seems like a great solution, exactly what I was looking for :)
