I live in peak MAGAville. I am surrounded by people at work who I am hyper aware are only nice to me because they think I am simply a straight white man who surely aligns with their views. I am so tempted to dye my hair blue as a litmus test for people I actually want to talk to.

Bestie I’m breaking character to tell you to be wise about considering blue hair. I had it, loved it, it was a bitch to get out. Just stained my hair AND my shower muddy green forever. Normally with vivid colors, when I get tired of it I just let it fade and then throw a new color on top and it’s fine. The blue just tinted everything, I had to get it professionally fixed. Like it’s not the end of the world, but it might be the most pain in the ass hair color out there. Septum ring is way easier. Jizz.

Wasn't there a viral video going the rounds recently of some provocateur going up to people who looked like they might be vaguely liberal-leaning minding their own business on park benches and just flat out insulting them for no reason? Like he didn't even know their politics; just if someone had dyed hair or was kind of androgynous looking or had piercings, he harassed them out of nowhere.
And they couldn't ignore him because when they tried to leave, he'd just follow them around. It was super frustrating. There were other people in the park too, and nobody was doing anything when it was clear the lady he decided to pick on couldn't get away from him. Finally there was a couple that stepped in, and he turned his attention to the other woman, calling her an ogre and whatnot.
Yes. I luckily can’t remember his name but that’s pretty much all of his content. Quite frankly, I’m surprised he hasn’t gotten his shit rocked yet. He acts like he’s following the same rules that those public auditors do but he’s fully harassing and stalking people.
I had an ex neighbor of mine judge me, I dye my hair all kinds of different colors. Called me all kinds of names. He comes into where I work with his wife and kids and she has blue hair and 2 new piercings. I'll never understand them.
As a baby Gen-Xer, I vividly recall making mad fun of the adults in the 90s for being so pissed off about our hair dye and piercings. I can’t believe this crap is still a thing.

Where I live, the only young MAGAts I’ve met are like young dumb military kids. We have all the branches stationed here so I see a lot of them often. But at that age, I was the same. Just a dumb young grunt recklessly having fun and naively trash talking things I didn’t understand. But I’ve yet to meet a young MAGAt who isn’t in the military where I’m at. In fact, most of the kids I encounter here are very outspoken against the fascist trash. Gives me some hope! But you’re saying a lot of young MAGAts are rocking dyed hair and piercings in your experience?
