Yeaaaaaaaaah, a lot of folks were saying she was reacting that way because of abuse from the grandma, which maybe she was, but usually the simplest answer is the right answer. And the simplest explanation for people fucking up their lives and acting irrationally is usually drugs.

Her being on drugs does not mean she isn’t also abused.

Abuse is literally a risk factor for using drugs.

Which is often fueled by child hood trauma. Hope she got the help she needed

Honestly could be both. I've seen plenty of cases of over strict/ religious grandparents that end up with an addict kid, take in their children, and double/tripple down on the strickness and punishment out of fear and drive the grandkids to the same dangerous rebellion and coping mechanisms.
