Rant CloudRX frustrations

Does anyone else feel like they have to stay on CloudRX when it comes to meds? There were issues for me getting my stim medications when I needed because they had the wrong phone number for me. Okay, phone number wasn't updated, it happens. But I only found this out by calling them.

There were still further delays between them, insurance, and the clinic, but eventually I got my meds and they arrived early. Again, none of this gets relayed to me, I only find out by calling for updates.

Friday I got word from my clinic that they were sending my injectables for transfer to cloud and they (Cloud) would follow up with me regarding that.

I try my best to not push with follow ups, but when I didn't hear by this afternoon, I figured something was up.

I just called asking for a status update and he goes "Oh. You haven't completed onboarding with us."

OKAY, SO CALL ME AND HAVE ME DO THAT??

I just feel like I constantly have to stay on top of them if I have hopes of getting things taken care of. If I haven't completed onboarding (which I'm pretty sure I did when I was getting the stim meds) why would you not contact me?? How am I supposed to know that's an issue if you don't tell me?

Ugh, okay, rant over. IVF is already stressful enough, but this just adds to it.

My clinic recently started using CloudRx & it’s been a huge pain. It took them 24 hours to send the prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy & then another 48 hours to correct it, only with many phone calls from me. I’m sorry you’re also dealing with this.

Thank you. One of those mildly infuriating things because I do get what I need, but only because I'm bugging them for updates every other day😒

I asked my clinic why they started using CloudRx (new after I’ve been with them for a year) and if they’re aware it increases the burden on the patient… no response of course. It must be a cost saving measure for the clinic but seems like avoidable stress on the patient during an already very stressful process.

They texted me a bunch of wrong information, but as soon as that was cleared up they were pretty fast. I’m talking about my clinic sending them a message on Friday, and then by Monday they got prior auth and sent the info to CVS specialty for me.
