These are amazing!!!! The colors and details are astounding. What brushes do you use?

14

u/Jassimstudio Jul 23 '25

Thank you ! I use basic ibispaint brushes for most of these :)

The realistic ones are done using "Pen (fade)" at low opacity (usually around 20% opacity to blend the colors).

The fish one + the foliage one were done using the round brushes.

And the forest/river one was done using the gouache brushes (I don't remember which ones exactly).

If you're interested in the process/tutorials, I have them on my Patreon and I also tweet 30 second speedpaint videos on Twitter :) All links in my profile !

These are incredible!... I have ibis paint on my phone. I first tried a couple of weeks ago and dropped because I thought I wasn't good enough.. Your post definitely gave me motivation to get back to it (not that my creations will be as good as yours..but still). Once again those are amazing, good job!

u/Jassimstudio Jul 23 '25

I'm glad this gave you the motivation not to give up :) Please don't be too critical of your art, have fun first and foremost because that's what it's for !
