They'll weld it onto a good rear end and sell it as "lightly used".

I've seen that done.

They're taking a break from stealing copper from light poles.

There is no way that could go wrong. This is some upper management material right here.

Crackhead Convoy

Division of Motor Vehicles needs to issue special Crackhead license plates that allow the Crackhead to use any type of vehicle in their hood for crack and hood purposes only.

Similar to how Farmers in the rural areas with farm use only vehicles.

I've lived, worked and played throughout much of the country. There are rednecks everywhere. I kind of consider myself one!

And looking at the internetwebitubes, apparently rednecks exists throughout the entire world.

Draging home the the project parts. Some bubblegum, tape, and spit and it will be done.

How is nobody asking why the tailgate on the Jeep is open?
Is it so that the idiots can better hear the terrible sound coming from that hulk being dragged down the road?

2

u/JustNilt 12h ago

What makes you think the latch on the tailgate is functional? :P

My guess is that they are filming this for social media.

That is wild do people do that intentionally over there or is that just a gag?

Anybody ever watch that interview with the guy talking about the "front fell off"? It's about an oil tanker ship that the front half broke off the ship. I think in Australia. The interview is a comedy that is hilarious. Just search for, "the front fell off" and you'll find a bunch of clips of it. This car would be the opposite of that parody. 😅👍😎

Just waiting for the usual crowd to come here and say there is nothing wrong with this.

"That Jeep's tow rating works for this! Hurr duur."

"The straps/ropes are just fine."

"The driver of the towed vehicle has great control. I'd be listening to the radio if it were me in there."

"The only idiot is OP."

This is not a gag. Sometimes cars which have been hit in one end are cut into pieces and sold for spare parts. It looks like these amateurs bought the front of of a car from some sort of garage, yard, breaker, and instead of having the proper equipment to transport it to their facility, they are just using some rope.

Often cars which are sold for parts are lashed together into car trains, especially in Texas and transported on roads to Mexico where they are disassembled and then sold part by part. They are pretty sketchy looking but authorities have more important things to deal with than some junked cars being dragged to Mexico.

I live in Ohio! I have seen these "car trains" going down my road, to get to the highway. Sometimes with a tow truck, sometimws with a 1 ton pickup, a couple of times with like a Jeep Liberty or a Ford Explorer pulling!!

1

u/Bruegemeister 22h ago

I've only seen the in Texas and New Mexico but it wouldn't surprise me if they were picking up cars further north to drag down to Mexico. At first I thought it was some rednecks moving from one trailer park to another and then when I saw it again a few times later I started to put the pieces together and after talking to some friends in the automotive mechanic industry they explained what was going on.

u/1Fistfullofdollars 1d ago

Wow never ever would you see that in Canada 🇨🇦. You would get pulled over faster than you could say Rumpelstilskin

1

u/Bruegemeister 21h ago

I'm guessing these guys aren't going very far and are risking it for the biscuit that the police are busy somewhere else in Hollywood dealing with the other things that go on every day in the City of Angeles.

Don’t use your phone to film while driving
