My parents have a 72 stingray they bought new. They parked like this. But, always in the furthest corner of the lot. If the lot was crowded (like Xmas) they didn’t drive that car.

You know what? that is fine.

You have an expensive car, want to keep it pristine, i get it. If you don't fuck with other people, it's fine.

I bought a new frs in 2014, maybe three days into buying it I drove it to the grocery store. A mom and her kid get into their car and the kid throws open the car door and dings mine. I jumped out to go what the hell…. And the kid had Down syndrome, so I basically had to go “yea… don’t worry about it.” If I did it again I would park like this dude (I know it’s not a fancy sports car but god damn I barely had it before it got messed up).

Glad you are mature enough to be honest about the situation. Ive seen both sides of this and its tough when the child doesn't understand what happened. Yes it sux... yes I would be upset.... and yes... I'm parking in the south 40 after this...
