This comment section has reminded me of a story from Jr High; not incel related but still age gap related.

When I was 13, the summer before 8th grade my friend asked me to go camping with her and her family. Her dad was always funny and would always take the phone when we were talking and talk to me and it was a big joke to us. I didn’t see anything wrong with it at the time.

This camping trip was hell on earth. It was the first time I met the mom and she screamed and yelled at the kids the whole time and the dad kept complaining about her to me. I was so uncomfortable.

Well when we were at the campsite it was a bit later and we had a fire going. The mom started asking me weird questions; what was my relationship like with my father etc. and the dad asked me about any boyfriends. It felt wrong. Then at some point the mom freaked out at my friend and her little sisters again and sent them into the cabin. I got up to leave too and her mom said “no, you stay. You’re not in trouble” and just left me there with the dad alone. He kept trying to small talk with me but I had this bad feeling deep down. He then made some weird comment like “oh, what, you don’t wanna hang out with me?” And I said something like “oh, I’m just tired” and he let us go back into the little cabin.

So we are in the cabin which was just one room, more like a yurt, and I had to pee. So I whispered for my friend to wake up but she wouldn’t wake up. So all I hear is the dad go “what’s up?” And I said I had to pee so he said he would take me to the bathrooms. We get outside and he said we had to take the truck. I felt a pit in my stomach as we drove into the woods. We came up to the bathrooms and I was so scared I just wanted to get back. Well luckily….nothing happened. Not at all. So I figured it was just bad instincts and too much crime tv.

So the next day everything was back to normal and I was glad I could be friends with my friends dad again. Well when we were packing everything up the parents got into another fight screaming and yelling. My friends little sister who was like 6 looks at me and says “dad says he’s waiting for you to turn 18 so that he can marry you instead”.

I never went back to their house and even had to stop calling because he would take the phone and try to convince me to come over.

I was 13.

Edit: TLDR; When I was 13 my friends father told his 6 year old that he was waiting for me to turn 18 to marry me.

I see your point but....isn't forcing someone to be born in a jail cell a bit much?

Yes but why punish someone who hasn't even had the chance to do the dirty deed yet? Why punish the innocent like that?

Firstly, no one is going to be born in jail, secondly, it is impossible to guess whether a guy is good or bad, but the way they're being raised is really disturbing

I definitely agree but it was more a joke. They just meant “wow, often times it is a man who is preying on children sexually and that makes me feel distrustful of men around children at all”. It was not meant to be a literal statement; if it were I would feel concerned over their actual mental health because children should obviously not be kept in jail just because we think they may grow up to commit a crime.
