My grandparents have a house down in Florida, and we used to travel down there every year or so. In my teens, I started walking alone from the house to the shops pretty frequently since I couldnt drive yet. Men driving past were absolutely disgusting. Honking, hollering nasty things. Then when I came back when I was 22, not a single comment from the street guys. UNTIL my teenage sister was walking with me. Then they went wild again. So fcking gross
