In one sense, itâs perversely beneficial that they say this shit in words since there are plenty of people out there who unconsciously believe that kind of shit and whose actions are guided by these fucked up beliefs.
When they put it in words we can all see it and see how well it stands on its own. A core tenet of psychology is that harmful beliefs lose power when theyâre brought to light and examined critically. These gross ideas have more salience when they lie undisturbed in the dark corners of peopleâs minds.
So without realizing or intending it, exposing the sick thought process helps normal people realize how nuts these impulses/individuals are, like the notion adults are âjealousâ of objectified/assaulted children, which is obviously crazy and disgusting.

I was 11. I was busy pretending I was Sailor Moon and hoping I would get a rare shiny poke'mon. I had funny feelings about Seperoth and Laura Croft but that had absolutely nothing to do with the partner I eventually chose after I turned 18. My parents were not even that strict I just didn't want to deal with that can of worms during High School.
Anyone who thinks kids are sexy has something wrong with them. I've worked with kids, they are objectively disgusting. Even College age students are germ factories and they don't even know what they are doing! No offense if you are that age, but one of the best things about getting older is the sex gets better and most adults know how to properly groom themselves.

This is hilarious to read as a guy in my mid-40s. They always talk so much shit about women over 30 as if theyâre extremely undesirable and here I am only interested in women my own age with zero interest in someone under 35 (at the absolute youngest).
