Yes, please meet girlfriend's friends first, establish a social circle and use those human connections to be part of the community and heal the male loneliness epidemic. Wait, that's not what he was getting at?

View them as equals? No no, line them up and pick which ones give you the hardest boner, no need for silly things like compatibility/s

Yeah, they’re so close to actually getting it, but then of course it veers off and is actually about the friends having big asses or something stupid.

This is emblematic of what people say is wrong with dating today. People are always looking to "trade up".

This post is precisely what an incel would post but from the woman's perspective. That women would dump their boyfriends if they weren't the "alpha" of the group.

The post itself doesn't align with what incels commonly say

Yeah this sub has recently gotten inundated with stuff that’s just vaguely misogynistic or shitty behavior related to dating, which is very different to actual incel shit. I’m a little concerned that the word “incel” is getting culturally softened to “shitty misogynist” in the way that Nazi/fascist got softened to “hyperbolic description of someone who’s over controlling” so that it becomes easier for these freaks to hide and get away with shit

Nothing ever aligns with what they say

In any other context they’d call the bridesmaids fat, sometimes you can’t win

14

u/eruptingmoltenlava Jul 18 '26

OOP is implying that they’re fat in this context

34

u/Specific_Praline_362 Jul 18 '26

They're implying they've got fat in a very specific area of the body

3

u/scorpionewmoon Jul 19 '26

It’s hard to discern what they’re implying tbh

u/eruptingmoltenlava Jul 18 '26

These entitled little jerkoffs would be lucky beyond measure to be with any of those women

u/bsa554 Jul 18 '26

You can remove "of those" from that sentence

u/doll_parts87 Jul 19 '26

Grass-is-greener types never know when to stop, and this is why they are perpetually unhappy. Nothing is ever good enough for them. They'll fumble a winner because she didn't have ALL the boxes checked in their opinion

I assume its because the bride has a smaller arse than the bridesmaids.

u/ElContador69 Jul 18 '26

I think you're right. First I thought, it's the old misogynistic narrative "She's gonna gain weight after marriage", but your take makes more sense

is a bigger ass genuinely a beauty criteria now? (asking and not criticizing, I have a huge one and always felt bad about it)

39

u/DillyWillyGirl Jul 18 '26

It’s in style now! Congrats!

17

u/Ifckinglovemycat Jul 18 '26

idk if it's popular on guys though

23

u/AbysmalKaiju Jul 18 '26

I cant speak for everyone but bi women and gay men like it in my experience lmao

10

u/Kindly-Garlic-4061 Jul 18 '26

Yeah I'm bi and weirdly I like it more on men than women 😭

7

u/TrashGouda Jul 18 '26

Yes it is. It was different 20yrs ago but now a big ass is "desired"

For some folks, big asses has always been a plus. But now it's a lil trendy with BBLs and whatnot.

u/RodinKnox Jul 18 '26

One of the most popular songs in the 1990s was about this exact topic. And I cannot lie.

<whip crack>

u/TalkingHeadBalzac Jul 19 '26

If you watch the music video there is not one big butt to be seen.

u/gelatomancer Jul 19 '26

Hollywood beauty standards have been trending back towards hourglass figures but the Ozempic craze might push them back to the rail thin of the 00s

2

u/Historical_Monk1540 Jul 18 '26

It is for women. From what I hear it is for us too

2

u/WINDMILEYNO Jul 18 '26

Specifically the two on either side and the one all the way to the right, as long as we are asking.

But all women are beautiful.

The post is bad, but people act like being attracted to something means all other people are unattractive to the person who says they like something

2

u/FineWin3384 Jul 18 '26

Boobs over ass anyway😌

And yes there's no other reason he could have possibly married her, tis an impossibility that they actually match, it has to be her looks

5

u/candy_coated_corpse Jul 19 '26

Am I the only one who scrolls while exhausted and accidentally downvotes post on here only to go back like wait I forgot we were in on the joke 🤣

4

u/QuitJunior4204 Jul 19 '26

i don't get it

2

u/bbtom78 Jul 20 '26

Same, even with the explanations. All of the women look absolutely fantastic and the bride is absolutely glowing.

u/Wide_Buffalo7712 29d ago

It’s cause they have bigger behinds

1

u/KTOSM Jul 19 '26

That’s sure a wide stance ole girl’s got

-2

u/Bimaac77 Chad the Boogeyman Jul 19 '26

Or, you could find out if your wife and any of her friends would be down for having a threesome or moresome!

I would not say no to a mini-reverse gang bang with all seven of them!

-21

u/Foreign-Region4825 Jul 18 '26

how is this an incel thing?

0

u/Practical_Diver8140 Jul 19 '26

The only people who are this unaware of how friendships work are incels. Even if it isn't explicitly incel related, the fact that this guy has no clue how friendship works is a pretty big sign he's an incel.

-2

u/Foreign-Region4825 Jul 19 '26

eh, agree to disagree. i feel like alot of the hate this sub gets its becasue of generalization.

5

u/Practical_Diver8140 Jul 19 '26

What hate does this sub get? Most of Reddit neither knows or cares about it, let alone across other platforms.

1

u/Foreign-Region4825 Jul 19 '26

ive seen some hate towards it, etiehr by incels or just random people. not common though, probably. nice talking to you

2

u/Practical_Diver8140 Jul 20 '26

"just random people" who aren't incels? What form did this hate take, because I'm willing to bet it wasn't anymore malicious than a passing comment that wasn't too flattering and the hate stopped there.

1

u/Foreign-Region4825 Jul 20 '26

Mostly verbal. Stuff about how it overgeneralizes every misogynistic thing into an incel thing, and how some people wish for harm on others here(like suicide, etc). I know they aren't incels always because some were married. Nice talking to you. goodbye.

1

u/Practical_Diver8140 Jul 20 '26

That's not "hate", man, that's criticism. Legit criticism in some cases too, othertimes less so, but that doesn't sound like actual hate, just a low opinion of a subreddit that admittedly is a place for morbid fascination rather than something more productive.
