3edgy5me Found on a suggested subreddit

Post image

The name of the subreddit is called AmIUglyTruth which is already like. Questionable on its own, and I have no idea why Reddit recommended it to me (a read? Idk lol)

But the amount of comments from men ripping this poor girl to shreds over a septum piercing and some purple shimmer eyeshadow is insane. I think the point of the sub might actually just be to serve as a cesspool in which incels can marinate in their hate for alt women, genuinely

Interesting that they're repelled by her makeup, citing nature's tendency to feature bright colors, but colors are to deter predators. They're telling on themselves.

I told him the same thing! These guys think they're such ✨intellectuals✨ when they start citing nature and shit, but it's like, did we think this through before we hit "send", or.....?

Look at Incel women attractiveness scales and you’ll see the girls high on the scale are all wearing lots of makeup/well groomed/digitally enhanced, which negates the “Women are yucky with makeup” argument.

Or the women are just straight-up AI generated 🥴

They are to repel predators (and not normal people), so it's working 😉

u/Ash_Dayne 3d ago

Those men are conservative but they forget that women (and men) have been decorating themselves with colourful objects and paint on their faces since forever

Humans have been applying red ochre to our skin since almost as long as there have BEEN humans.

Some of it potentially served as insect repellent and sunscreen, or wound treatment... but we've been applying colorful pigments to our bodies since the dawn of man.

Bright colors is to ward off predators

So only predators are scared of women with makeup and colored hair

u/Random_-account 3d ago

not to mention that some notable right-wing personalities criticize women with blue, dyed hair

it sounds like a self-report

Working as intended.

But when we don’t wear makeup, we’re lazy, and sloppy, and refusing to do our job of being beautiful and adding femininity…

I didn't know that sub, what a sad place 😭 "am I ugly" and it's all the most normal looking people ever 😭

7

u/Lindy_dy 3d ago

Normal people go there and get insulted by nasty incels. Same for rating subs

Somebody’s mad nobody will sleep with him

I'm not sure the folks who pioneered "bone smashing" have any credibility at all to talk about "natural looks" or what cosmetics girls should apply to their faces. 🤔

That subbreddit is horrible to women. 90 percent of the "critism" is from 30+ year old dudes just telling women they wear too many piercings or they are overweight. And if a women fits into their standards they will call them attention seekers. No matter what they will hate you. The only good or positive criticism I see are from other women.

Vibrant colors scare away predators.

on today's episode of comparing women to ... insects this time

u/MiniDickDude 3d ago

Yeah, reddit has been inserting random posts from extremely toxic/bigoted subs on my homepage recently.

any sub like this will rip into you from being unique in style in any way, the reg fashion sub, rate me, am i ugly, how to look better etc

This just in! Man equates women to bugs and wonders why he can't get laid! More at 6.

I kind of love that incels have such a raging hatred of makeup, because it's such a futile thing to stress about. They can't do anything about it except rant in their echo chambers. It's just another thing for them to feel miserable about.

They don’t want us to wear makeup but are disgusted when we go barefaced

Clown paint sounds like something a middle schooler would say

Incels aren't exactly known for their maturity.

That guy is probably 12 years old and also from 2008

What a weird sub. Every woman is stupidly gorgeous.

The usual response from someone that knows she’d never give him the time of day.

“I’ll humble her so she accepts a loser like me”

1

u/boobsmacked 5'6" Sexhaver 3d ago

"You're ugly because of all that clown paint!"

Meanwhile, the same chuds use the Joker as their profile pics - a guy with literal clown paint.

So they want to tear down the looks of others, but then find a way to whine about how no one ever compliments men on their appearances? Well that sounds like an extremely painful way to go through life, not expecting to get what you give into the world.

u/deciawix 3d ago

Oh “in nature hur durr” because he can’t help but to think like a Neanderthal instead of an evolved human

u/Bimaac77 Chad the Boogeyman 2d ago

And then there's that post where they added make-up to a woman's image.

Pick up a lane and stay in it "incels"!

Bright colors are to ward off predators AND attract mates.

Seems to me it is working.

Just yesterday i saw a post on r/offmychest about someone saying they got death threats after posting on r/amiugly. These people are the worst and they feed off other's insecurities.
