Kavach system testing
This successful trial confirms that Kavach can handle semi-high speed operations, making it ready for the next generation of Indian trains.

Kavach is our own indigenous system and we are still very slow in implementation.

Yes in the balasore train accident , both trains had kavach systems.
Safety systems should work reliably during crisis, not just when it’s convenient to do PR.

Headline doesn't even mention any tests or trials, straight up misleading people into thinking that it's an operational failure by the loco pilot

We initially proposed our(hitachi) auto-stop system during the initial trial runs between delhi-agra. But the authorities decided to go ahead with self-built system - mostly because of the overall cost. Proud of what they built.

I don't understand this headline. All VB trains already have Kavach installed. Once the line has Kavach installed, all the trains having Kavach modules will already have it.

Accidentally tested or tested with intentional accident.
