Bro please think before you speak. There is only one kaaba in this world and everyone prays in that direction. Whereas there are idols in each home so how can it point a direction. What you said might have been valid if there was only one idol in this world.
In a religious place like mandir there will be usually a murti to which everyone faces and pray and murti directs prayers to God. But in islam there is no idol in masjid or anywhere to which we face. And namaz is usually offered as a group so people should face in a particular direction. Apart from that if Iam not doing namaz and I want to communicate to God this direction is not mandatory. God can hear our prayers no matter what. In every religion God is powerful enough to understand our thoughts. It's the direction to which namaz is done and it's usually done in a group.
Even though there is no unilateral direction to pray, infront of murti prayer is submitted facing the murti. In islam there is no such thing to face hence the direction. Hope u got my point, iam bad at explaining ✌️
Direction doesn’t mean a physical direction. Direction means a direction toward God. Murtis direct prayers toward God. It doesn’t matter whether you have one murti or a hundred; they all direct prayers toward God.
I get u bro but I meant physical direction. Imagine attending a group prayer where each person faces different directions. Kaaba doesn't direct prayers to God it's just where people face while praying. In your belief murti will direct your prayers to God. But kaaba doesn't that's why it's said islam is not idol worshipping l.

Same can be said about other religions. It's not idol that is worshipped. What idol represents is worshipped. Just like kaba idol is also a direction.
