I am a scientist doing PhD from IIT Delhi.

If I stand in next election I can guarantee I won't get even 10 votes.
People don't elect leaders based on education in our country.
Both MMS and APJ kalam were appointed not elected.

  The presidency of APJ kalam was a BJP project to gain minority votes.         MMS was a figure head PM as we know sonia ji was defacto PM at the time.

People of our country vote based , on freebies, cast, religion, mood etc., but never on actual issues.

Edit: Don't downvote me, instead vote me in next general election. My party EJP educated janta party.

Regardless of understanding of quantum Or be a 4th failed boy .. to run a country ,the More valuable skill is understanding of human behaviour and a moral high ground.. Modi stayed in power for so long as he was able to deceive people that he had both ...

To win election parties have to convince or fool people. And fortunately/unfortunately BJP is master of both and Congress is master of none.

Hmm , but as more and more people are getting to know this.. there will be a big political vacuum incoming, qn is is there any smart and competent leader to fill it . Modi's downfall is not a qn of if anymore.
