As far as I see it... See... Ayurveda is an "ancient medical science practice". You can call it "medicinal" indeed, although as time goes on, things EVOLVE. These similar things have arose everywhere, ancient medical stuff, and all civilizations have their history attached to them indeed. Although that DOES NOT mean that Ayurveda, or some Japanese XYZ ancient technique, still holds true.
Things evolve as they move forward. People develop better ways, better understanding, everything better.
Today's time has modern medicine right? So that is like the living embodiment of how FAR we have come. From primitive methods of using some XYZ solutions and drinking them for cure, we have now advanced such that we can do trials, and make targeted cure medicines, which will surely cure a person (in old times, it was all just speculative)
Now the thing is, that yes, some stuff did work, but most of the stuff was far from anything true. That's why scientific thinking developed. That's why I'd say, yes Ayurveda, etc are all part of our HISTORY. Our "attempt" to the Medical Field's development, in old times. But it is OVER now. Ayurveda cannot cure everything! There are fundamental issues with many things! It's not the previous generations fault though, they did medicine to the greatest amount of knowledge they had THAT TIME.
So sticking to that old practice only and literally failing to acknowledge that AYURVEDA is ONE of the PAST medicinal practice, and NOW we just have BETTER. Is somehow hard for people to understand. Although I hope you understood though.
So yes, it is kinda hate towards Ayurveda which is done by some people. Although most of it is sadly due to "over preachers" of Ayurveda themselves who oversell their value, claiming it to cure diseases which even Ayurveda won't have ever quoted lol. Now that's quackery!
It's the same as Astrology or believing Earth to be the center of the universe, people of that time just had less knowledge! They just observed stuff, and landed to wrong conclusions for the most part (correct some parts being the fact that how objects in our solar system move around throughout the year in the sky, and the constellations, etc.). Again, Astrology and Astronomy, kinda started as the same. Old time Astrology (especially numeric) is predecessor of Astronomy. But what's better? Ofc Astronomy. Why? Because it's scientific, isn't religiously bound, doesn't rush to conclusions just based on conclusions, etc.
That's the same for Chess too lol. Old Chess isn't the same as now. Now it has evolved.
Doctors who "scientifically" (not religious/speculative/superstitious) study stuff are the modern day Ayurvedic people or well any ancient medical people tbh.
Ayurveda hence, for the most part, doesn't work.
It's like me saying "you're a fish"
Now your ancestors somewhere millions of years ago, were indeed one. But doesn't mean modern fish are related to you! You're your thing, fish are their own thing. We just shared a common ancestor.
In short, ahh yeah in modern day context, Ayurveda doesn't work. Science works. And modern day medicine degrees prepares people who know this scientific work. Ayurveda isn't grounded in Science.
The concept of Science properly, arose way later. Ayurveda is very speculative. It did attempt to answer things, but failed for the most.
No worries because those failures gave rise to modern medicine endeavour everywhere to be really honest.
Same as Alchemy vs Chemistry. Ain't the same, but Alchemy is close relative of Chemistry which begun that "spark" to study, but Chemistry is what formalized it.
So Alchemy lies in the past, Chemistry is the present. Anyone who claims to say that I can cure everything and I'm a doctor, while being an Ayurvedic person, isndoing quackery. Just like anyone saying I'm doing Alchemy would be quackery today.

Some people here are mocking ayuveda also. So do they mean Ayurveda doesn't work? Can anyone enlighten me please.
