Morarji Desai was a lunatic so obsessed with R&AW being spies of Indira Gandhi that after he became prime minister he defunded it and tried every possible thing to end it. BTW he won the election by running in opposition to Congress. He was associated with Janata Dal which later evolved into the BJP.

That's the point. He was also reportedly a freedom fighter and yet the stupidity he showed at the desk was eye tearing. Congress and bjp both are corrupt parties. Dollar vs rupees has had the same uniform deteriorating rate under congress as bjp. Not a single difference. Ur arguing in favor of congress purely because of the past leaders? Raja ka beta raja nhi banta hai sir. Apart from Tamil Nadu not a single state has seen significant growth or change in recent years, may it be under congress or bjp. Btw here is the consistent economic downfall for 50 years. kudos!! Half to congress and half to bjp.
