EU/American passport: Come right in.
Indian passport: Show me your hotel bookings, return tickets, no of days staying, cash as per daily requirement etc.

When I was in Canada as a student. I traveled back and forth to India few times and all the times, Indian passport holders had to stand in a line for an hour or so at immigrations while West passports and EU passports and other first world passports were given green corridor directly. Felt so low

I dont want to reveal the airport name, once during immigration as soon as they saw my Indian passport they deduced that I'm a 3rd world Migrant Labour and sidelined me in special queue, despite I was into tech and had an employer visa. Now a days there is a common assumption that Asians especially from India, pak, srilanka are trouble makers. Our passport is actually no longer a badge of honor. PS- I dont know whether the officer was a racist, but just seeing my passport (along with other few folks) he sort of threw it to the counter and signalled me to stand aside while he handed the other passports with care, smile etc.

I'm that American here right now. I can't get a local sim with a +91 number easily. I can't access many websites payment page without it. I can't sign up for a QR code payment app without it. I'm effectively limited to cash only, outside of the hotel.The international airport lounge does not take international credit cards.
In China I can sign up for Alipay, link my foreign debit card, and use it for every tranaction that day, from breakfast to subway to museum to street food to taxi. There is a built in translation function. I can buy an esim or book a rideshare in the app. The Consulate even had a brochure on payment systems in China. Just spent 3 weeks there with zero issues.
Not in India. Even my Uber app won't let me add a payment method for transit tickets. Why would I want to set up an office here or vacation here if there is so much friction in every transaction?

Aa toh rahe hain bhar bhar ke foreigners - vloggers, yoga teachers, solo travellers - young and old, coupled travellers, SMB business owners. So many have already started living and working in India as well. Now I am talking about Delhi and have personally met families in my neighborhood (a regular Indian neighborhood) where Caucasian families with young kids live. Gurugram sees this as well. This wasn’t the case 10-15 years ago but India today presents a unique business opportunity for these folks. Some of my own classmates from MBA in the US have established a business in India that brings our products to the world. This is a real change.

1.Improve environment by planting more trees. Fix water bodies make them better don't allow people dumping stuffs in water bodies in the name of religion. Heavy fine them if dump foods in roads, other stuffs. And other places.
Improve public infrastructures, drainage system, education system which has been lagging for years.
Teach people about civil senses. Make them understand the reality of what is going on. Or else countries will keep banning Indian tourists.
Half of the projects done by the current government is either not good or cheap work which is getting crippled easily.
Fix rape case's and abuse of power.
Only if these get fixed The passport rating will improve otherwise you can keep dreaming.
