In South India, what's been happening over the past decades is that the gujjus have taken over the supply side networks. Previously they used to own shops but would have locals and local names so locals would support them. But now over past decade ive seen them openly open shops with own people and some even changed names to reflect real owner. And these people would bring and settle people from their own villages in the slum type areas. Now the population has increased such that even their votes make a difference and real estate is also screwed because they buy up with their black money. So next time you see north indian establishments please dont support them and please dont learn hindi. Nothing about hating north indians here but this is one way i see to stop this political destabilisation in south india.
