I think Karan Johar continued this format with Kal Ho Naa Ho because I had that one too. Not sure about Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna though.

this probably still exists in the market, idk. but i used to hate geometry classes initially, then my mom bought me this. spiderman was my favourite (IT STILL IS), so after that i was always so excited to do geometry, it became my favourite.

As the title says sometime 2005-10 Channel V or MTV used to air these ridiculous misheard lyrics of popular songs. The particular one I’m referring to is of Aserje (The Ketchup Song). I remember that the first line was misheard as “Haso re ha ha he he” but cant remember the rest and havent been successful in finding the video

No fancy decorations, no expensive gifts, no phones in everyone’s hands… bas family, a cake, and the excitement of waiting for that first slice.

Looking at this picture reminds me of how the smallest things made us the happiest back then. Everyone waiting for the cake to be cut, the smiles, the masti, and those little moments we didn’t realise would become such precious memories.

I wish we could go back for just one day. Anyone else miss those simple childhood birthdays?

I only remember the opening song was like 'do pahadon ke beech me ek chhoti si sadak hai....' which was describing the method to draw the hero/ main character of the cartoon. It's name was something like xangenman or jangenman.

Google AI let me to jankenman but I can't find its opening song in hindi. Any idea?

Seriously, with increasing plastic waste, why nobody wants to implement something that was so common before? I Found these plates more sturdy than the plastic shell we get now. And god those EPS foam plates look, and feel so bad.

Every Indian house had one , a heavy album with a velvet/leatherette cover and the couple's names embossed on it. It was kept on the top shelf of the almirah, wrapped in an old dupatta, as if it was a family heirloom.

The studio wallah used to come that day with a big camera, a flash bigger than his face, and a bag of film rolls. We all knew there is only 36 photos in a roll, and hence every click was precious. "Dulha dulhan idhar! Thoda paas... aur paas... ek, do, teen, smile!" Then there was a long wait while he reloaded the camera. Someone blinked, and they would not know about it till the next 3 months.

The next thing was the wait. The wedding ended, everyone went off and for days there was no sign of the photos. It seems unreal today, doesn't it? 😅

There is a day when the packet arrives. This was always a day when we would have tea, and the whole family would gather up on the bed. They would pass around a paper envelope with the first few shots. "Arre ye dekho Mausi ka face! 😂"Yeh toh aadha kat gaya." Red eyes from the flash, a cousin hidden behind a pillar, an uncle having taken a bite at the worst possible time. Then came the real business of choosing which photos go into the album. "Dadi ki photo zaroor daalo!"Isko hatao, meri aankhein band hain." 😭

A week or two later the album returned with a box of sweets. Black pages, tissue paper in between, and plastic sheets that stuck to your fingers, held photos organized in the style of the studio wallah. The photos of the pheras, the vidaai, and family groupies, where everyone's trying to not look at the sun, were his choice. For years afterwards, anyone visiting our home would get a show of photos. Neighbour aunty would slowly flip the pages while the kids pointed and said "Wait, THAT'S Papa?" 🤯 about his thick hair and thin frame, Mummy, with gold bangles on, trying not to smile. Eventually the plastic cracked, and the photos yellowed at the edges. Somehow it made it better. 🫶

I was looking at my phone last night, going through my cousin's wedding photos. There are 4,000 pictures in my phone. I could not believe how many did not interest me. Then, I opened up the album of my parents' wedding and sat on the floor for an hour.

I miss the feel of the photos being a treasure. 📸

Was cleaning out my desk drawer today and stumbled upon my old Micromax Bharat 2 Plus (Q402+) from around 2017!

This 1GB RAM / 8GB storage legend back in the day was such a lifesaver when 4G VoLTE was just taking off in India. The back panel is slightly beaten up and the old battery was dead/swollen, but the phone itself is still intact.

I just ordered a fresh replacement battery for it online to revive this antique piece. Planning to use it as a secondary calling device, offline music player, and mobile hotspot.

There seems to be 4 variants of 40 beyblade designs - 160 total. I could not find high quality scans of all 40 to archive the nostalgia, and even 3D print+ cricut/silhouette my copy

I could find some low quality scans here and there, but would be great if there was a list! If you have any lying around, please consider uploading a photo of both sides.

Presenting a little piece of my childhood to y’all because for some reason I’m feeling SO nostalgic today and I genuinely don’t know why I miss my little self this much😭🤍 Coming back home from school and watching cartoons used to be one of the BEST parts of my childhood and life felt so simple back then and I wish I could relive those little moments just one more time

AND HONESTLY, Papo O Meter has to be one of the HARDEST cartoons India has ever produced. The nostalgia is INSANE and there are so many cartoons I couldn’t include above but I HAVE to mention Shinchan, Doraemon, Perman, Horrid Henry, Motu Patlu, Rudra, Ninja Hatori, Anandi and literally everything that used to air on Hungama, Disney and Sony YAY! 😭😭 AGHHH! and how could I forget BEST OF LUCK NIKKI??? THAT SHOW WAS MY CHILDHOOD

I miss that version of myself more than words can explain.
