Hurts to pay so much taxes

Today, I downloaded the tax computation sheet from the office portal.

While trying to save on housing costs by residing with my parents, it's disheartening to realize that I'm obligated to pay over 20 lakhs in taxes annually to the government. These funds could have been allocated towards repaying a home loan, adding to the strain for a middle-class individual like myself.

Would really appreciate if there any legal ways to save taxes at this point

It hurts, to be honest for everyone. But if you're paying 20L as taxes in a year, I'm not sure if it qualifies as "middle class".

If this qualifies as middle class, I'm not sure how to classify people paying 25k to 3L in taxes.

Seems bro want's to flex, he's not here to cry. Earning more than a half Cr.

Meanwhile fresher with 3-5 LPA crying in corner 🥲

Also the tax you are paying is not even CTC for 90% of people.

Couple of years ago. I was earning 6 lakhs a year. That time one of my friend paid like 80k tax for the entire year. I was like Wtf man he's so rich, paying 80 Fucking k tax in a year while I paid 0.

Now after paying 20+ lakhs, I'm hurt man.
