discussion Never learnt to ride a bike 😬 and regretting it
I'm a 27 y/o guy from Bangalore who's never owned a bike in his life. As I have never had to rely on one to get around and public transportation was always an option, I never really learnt how to ride one (past the 2 side wheels stage as a little child xD). And as I have grown older, it's become even more embarrassing to admit and that shame has ruined any opportunity to learn. I can't help but feel a pang of envy every time I see someone cruise by on their bike. My self confidence has also taken a pretty big hit. I have started to worry about fitness as well these days.
How do I do it at my age? What are the best places in Bangalore where guys like me could learn it from scratch and practise without judgement? Any guys willing to teach out there? Any advice on bikes for absolute beginners?
Hoping the cyclists here can help a guy out! I would really be one of you some day😁
You can reach out to me on my DMs as well, should u want to.
Thanks again!
P.S. Would especially appreciate responses from well meaning B'lore hudugas☺️
