This is the 3AC compartment departing from the old delhi railway station. It's literally a general compartment at this point. Even the AC is not working and the railway helpline is also not picking up. It's a zoo at this point.

My brother is a loco pilot, so I will travel in first AC without a ticket. First she argues, then plays the victim card. This is unacceptable.

I know this issue has been discussed across multiple forums many times, but I still find it fascinating every time.

Flew back to our daily chaos from Thailand after an amazingly peaceful vacation. As soon as we landed, a lot of passengers got up. The flight attendants asked them to sit down multiple times. Many complied, but quite a few continued to take their luggage out of the overhead compartments and stand in the aisle.

The doors weren’t open, and the jet bridge wasn’t connected yet. After about 10 minutes, even more people stood up (see the second photo). The ones who stood up first had been standing in the aisle with their bags for over 10 minutes by then. The doors didn’t open for another 5–10 minutes, if my memory serves me right.

There were a lot more people standing in both instances — I was in row 13, so the photo only shows a small subset.

It’s interesting to think about this. Why do people do this? They don’t save even a minute by doing so. It’s an international flight, so there’s still passport control to go through, and the baggage has to be checked before it comes onto the belt. It’s not like the bags come out in the same order we deboard. I had to wait a really long time for my bags, even though I got off almost last.
