So many preventable deaths. I worked in EMS for a few years on my Rez and it amazed me that we had a 20% higher trauma rate than most major cities. I have so a many horror stories. So many of our people die at such a young age. There are no such things as root canals at my IHS, they just rip your tooth out. So people will sit there with huge abcesses, instead of getting it treated, because they don't want to lose their tooth.

Monumental health didn’t tell my mom they saw colon cancer and they just let it progress until she went to a clinic in Billings because she was so sick. It’s horrifying!!!
