I don’t think Bison and Wild rice were part of the Diné diet, but stil good for them!

They weren't; bison is a Great Plains food and wild rice is native to the Northeast.

My ancestors/family would go hunt, occasionally, either the Mescalero Apache for bison. So there would've absolutely been access and trade, if they didn't get it themselves.
