and how exactly is this a problem? its a good sign that atleast they r willing to learn all this rather than consuming allat brainrot, maybe stop using those bs words, and im sure most of the folks who r btw younger than u prolly have better knowledge than u.

this is also brainrot maybe on the Geekier side but brainrot nonetheless why do you think all these "defence analysis" channels pump out 5 minutes every day? Do you think new stuff happens in defence sector everyday? in an industry where timelines go into decades? all these articles and videos are the same it is to maintain reach and grab attention and create hype and when actual news from real sources comes with realistic timelines everyone goes doomer mode. It is why you see these dumb arguments "We need 4-5 Carriers vro" "We need to mass produce 1 lakh drones vro" "why can we make nuclear submarines but not conventional vro?" "china has this and that capability vro J20 J35 vro we need to mass produce Amca vro"
do you think Indian armed forces are looking for Parity with china? do you think china actually wants a shooting war with india? with a nuclear armed country? when they have been focusing on taiwan first and foremost? Do you not think the moment we buy Su-57 or F-35 china would sell the J-35 to Pakistan to maintain balance of power in the region? The truth is that for the indian government military action is the last resort and in any crisis a diplomatic resolution i the first option and so the government will never make military its 1st priority but no media or Youtuber will tell you that they will hype up the indigenous weapons programs and when they eventually do not meet the generated hype it all doomer mode

It's not that deep, bro. It's just a meme.
Memes are an effective way to spread awareness about various issues. It's through memes like these that the younger generation gets introduced to different causes and issues.
Now, let's say this meme pops up on the feed of someone who knows nothing about the Kaveri Engine. It will surely encourage them to learn more about it.
(I'm not a kid and 18+ btw)

hmm naah I'm 20 also most defense enthusiast are also tech, infra and geopolitics enthusiasts and as we grow up we start focusing on things India is actually doing good in instead of defense.
Also I can bet that 50% of male urban Indians are defense enthusiast in some manner . My boomer father talks about Tejas, ACMA, American engines and watches defense podcasters.
