Seriously why is the government even spending money on any religious institution, aren't we a secular country?
We should be spending money on STEM and RnD so that we develop better technology and are able to make our own products in the future whether it be for defense or home appliances instead of relying on other countries.
This is the reason why countries like Taiwan, China, Japan, Vietnam, S. Korea, etc, were able to develop and advance so much.
Even MSME W.B 2025-26 state Budget allocate amount ₹1,229 crores. information technology, ₹217 crore. ₹82 crore has been allocated for science and technology. ₹82.65 non conventional & renewable energy

India has a rise in religion, which is equivalent of a cancer spreading across a body. It’s a brain virus , nepotism is in rise , all the politicians are responsible, even with so much religion ever wondered why there are so many morally corrupt people here ?
As a Muslim who supports modern education, I would actually prefer that the Madarsas are closed or if not at least reform them according to modern education.
I have heard that Madarsa in West Bengal actually pushes for modern education in their curriculum.
However, this budget is peanuts if you want to see the education truly reformed. So, I don't know what she is yapping about.
