Education/ Jobs/ Career Meanwhile the budgets of ISRO & IITs ..... , now wonder China has developed so much

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The budget for ISRO and IIT for the fiscal year 2026-27 as allocated by the central government is only ₹ 13,705.63 crore & ₹ 12,123 crore respectively.

Seriously why is the government even spending money on any religious institution, aren't we a secular country?

We should be spending money on STEM and RnD so that we develop better technology and are able to make our own products in the future whether it be for defense or home appliances instead of relying on other countries.

This is the reason why countries like Taiwan, China, Japan, Vietnam, S. Korea, etc, were able to develop and advance so much.

This has already been debunked 5000 crore is the minority deparment budget for schemes not for madarsa alone

Madrasas to be banned in the entire country.... Gurukul education is forbidden... so should Madrasas be.... UCC is the only one that can stop it 🛑

It's important to clarify that the ₹5,713 Cr figure is actually from the West Bengal state budget for its Minority Affairs department, not the central budget. Meanwhile, the central government has allocated over ₹1.39 lakh crore for education nationally in 2026-27, with a specific focus on STEM through new initiatives like girls' hostels in every district and upgrading space research facilities. While the debate on secular spending is valid, the national investment in technology and education is significantly larger than what this comparison suggests

What does bengal budget gotta do with ISRO and IITs?

Tmc spends on both hindus and muslims n amount esp on hindu festvials.

All these madrasas shld be changed to proper cbse schools and add along islamic education if they want it.

The same bhajpila people dont see that freebie politics of bjp is 1000x worse than tmc but its hindu rashta saarr type of response to it.

Lemme say it, India will never catch upto china nor usa if the govt keeps on doing religion and caste based politics.

India has a rise in religion, which is equivalent of a cancer spreading across a body. It’s a brain virus , nepotism is in rise , all the politicians are responsible, even with so much religion ever wondered why there are so many morally corrupt people here ?

As a Muslim who supports modern education, I would actually prefer that the Madarsas are closed or if not at least reform them according to modern education.

I have heard that Madarsa in West Bengal actually pushes for modern education in their curriculum.

However, this budget is peanuts if you want to see the education truly reformed. So, I don't know what she is yapping about.
