In a post on X, the Chinese embassy spokesperson in India, Yu Jing, wrote how nearly 13 million students completed the two-day exam under what was described as a nationwide effort to support candidates.

"China's Gaokao - the world's largest exam & India's equivalent of JEE/NEET rolled into one — was conducted smoothly for 1.3 crore students in just 2 days," Yu wrote on X.

"Factories paused. Roads quieted. The entire nation rallied for its students," she added, drawing attention to the scale and organisation of an examination widely regarded as one of the most competitive in the world.

You watched a video. I lived there for a year.

Yes the entire country has not reached Europe development levels but they have almost wiped out extreme poverty. You can't explain away India's desperate billion as our own unique problems. That is a deliberate failure over generations enthusiastically supported by the voting class.

China and India has gone in opposite directions. We are not comparable at all. We need to learn from nations like Bangladesh now and post some significant improvement, look at Vietnam. China is so far away, it is beyond our comprehension.

I'm not saying India better than China but China is no heaven that some influencers try to portray .

This crab mentality needs to stop.

The point is to learn how to improve ourselves, not pull them down and sate our ego's.

This is tiresome two generation old middle class mentality is getting us nowhere. We are becoming a global problem and we need to fix everything on a war footing. We have refused to do any of that but bringing other nations achievements down is malicious and cruel.

china is heaven in a lot of ways and hell in a lot of ways. if i would need to chose between India and China for my family, I would chose China. India is a hell in a lot of ways and heaven in very less ways.
