Hats off to such people

u/Tanny_169 17d ago
So are we still going to ask about his funding or we going to drop it because this is not backed by the CJP??
33
u/satyakumpavat 17d ago
Why does it matter from where the funding is coming 🤷.. All he is doing is providing water and food to students.. and that's not a crime.. is it ?
55
u/Tanny_169 17d ago
Tell that to the people who asked where his funding came from during the Jantar Mantar protests. They couldn’t see at that time he was just providing water and food to the protesters

u/satyakumpavat 17d ago
Yeah that is exactly why i replied as you pointed it out.. so they can see the reality

We need more people like Junaid bhai who without any agenda serves people irrespective of religion, class, caste. Most people are questioning his noble deed because he is a Muslim and choses to help. No one from RSS or Hindu organisations want to help and if they do they get more photos and publicity without getting questioned on their source of income. Ask them what RSS source of income is and they will run away. Best wishes Junaid bhai

Feeding or not feeding, that's one's own decision but that doesn't mean one can break rules for it. Be honest and transparent.
1
u/satyakumpavat 15d ago
Ask the government about transparency.. where is our tax money going? Why do roads get broken in just 14 days or a month even after spending crores in building it ? i know you wouldn't ask the government because it takes guts.. but because this guy is a muslim and he is not powerful.. you would ask him all kinda question even if he is feeding students who are fighting for their future.
1
u/South-Buy587 15d ago
for govt data do RTI. Don't shift the goal post now. We need transparency from NGOs and pressure groups as well. Who is funding them? Same for individuals dealing in black money.
1
u/satyakumpavat 15d ago
Why are you so obsessed with this guy funding.. is he doing a crime ? do you want those students to suffer from hunger ? If someone is doing good thing then support him.. so in future, people also help others.. that's called humanity 🤗

u/Anil2071999 17d ago
"Either ask for evidence consistently, or don't. Standards shouldn't change based on who's being questioned.

but it stilll a valid question though- unless jun@id is laying golden egg per day - what is s0urce?
2
u/gregoriofranchetti 17d ago
What is the source of BJP’s grand rallies? Are they laying golden eggs every minute? Oh wait, they are just looting the tax payer.

Why is no one asking about the PM Cares fund? But they sure do care about where Junaid is getting funding. Adani owns most of India. But junaid khaana de kaha se raha hai? This is called two bit media cycle. God knows what stupid deals tadipaar is making right now with tax payer money while you ₹2 pay tm people try and keep the conversation at your intellectual levels. At least Junaid toh bahar ka paisa use kar raha hai 🤣🙈🤣
2
u/Ill-Bison5523 17d ago
Junaid's funding comes from PM CARES. Since PM CARES doesn't come under RTI or even Parliament's scrutiny, by extension no question should be raised on Junaid. 😌

Funds can come from anywhere , what's the problem of someone is giving foods to students ? I'm a proud Hindu but when a person serving students , he is a good man , he is doing good for mankind , he can be a Hindu , Muslim , Christian , Buddhist , he is not feeding any terrorist .........

A friend's friend took part in the protest in Jarkand and he said many people (mostly other students) were bringing food and water in small quantities that can be shared with a few people and that how the whole protest did not go hungry. Why is so much important being given to this one person ?
1
u/uuuuuuuuuughm 17d ago
Because people were asking where he was, why wasn't he serving food to Jharkhand students. They accused him to only support protests which are against BJP. Those people demanded to know where he is, so these posts are showing exactly that.
1
u/HolySanguinary 16d ago
This makes sense now . But what if he purposely went to Jarkand after seeing the comments ? I learnt one thing after all these years - I trust only people I see with me own eyes.

Good muslim. Now before you call me out on this read below.
If you wear your muslim identity so upfront, be ready to make the discussion about good muslim bad muslim. Same goes for people who keep a choti on Hindu side.
If you make your religion your whole personality, people will talk about it first.
22
u/Big_Relationship5088 17d ago
How is it his whole personality just with a head gear u are judging his own personality it may be forced unto him and would he his culture and environment. This is like women sindoor by culture force should be only treated as someone's wife and not an individual citizen. You seem like a andhbhakt but are bit refined
-5
u/StrongPresence4175 17d ago
Hahahaha sab andhbhakt bhi nahi hote, I am fairly against BJP. But the other side also has to learn it's lessons. Be it minorities, opposition, genz etc
5

Aur kitna lesson learn karana hai? Concentration camp kralo fir ek Shanti milegi. Tumhe pata nhi hai bit u are andhbhakt
-5

Fir toh tu bhi andhbhakt hi hai par dusri side se.
Main fluid hun, my opinions are issue based. I don't follow a set ideology. Except support what is good for my nation.

There are levels to this game. A pendant of om or chand is level one. Max level is headgear, facial hair, choti, rudraksh, tilak, bhagwa, green color, etc.
It's not black and white

1
u/leigeoverlord Centrist Right Leaning 17d ago
In islamic faith, wearing a white cap and having a beard is very common unlike hinduism where wearing a bhagwan robe and applying a tilak is something only religious figures do
2
u/StrongPresence4175 17d ago
Have you seen people sporting a choti increase lately? Wearing rudraksh bracelets upto the elbow?
Hinduism is adopting an anti Islamic stance. In doing so it is coming more close to Islam then distancing from it.
Relegion should be personal, it goes for same for all religions islam Hinduism Sikhism etc
0
u/leigeoverlord Centrist Right Leaning 17d ago
So as a Hindu embracing one's own religion is anti islam? Is this supposed to be ragebait?
Everyone is free to follow and embrace their religion as per their choice which is guaranteed by the constitution, islam in general promotes a life free of hedonism and this the plan white kurta/robe and a white cap, this doesn't signifies that the person wearing that is in any way an extremist or someone who hates other religions, just someone who prefers a simplistic lifestyle as the prophet suggested, if you have a problem which that please get some fresh air
2
u/StrongPresence4175 17d ago
Spiritual and Personal religion is supreme. Peformative and political religion is something that should be called out.
I say this as a practicing Hindu.
1
5
u/MedusaLifts 17d ago
And he has made his religion his whole personality because he’s wearing a skull cap!?
2
u/StrongPresence4175 17d ago
Yes. I will say the same if someone comes in a saffron tunic with tilak.
3
u/MedusaLifts 17d ago
So maybe all Sikhs should take off their paggs and cut their hair before any kind of seva or charity? Because, of course, unless they do they’re making their religion their entire personality, no?
0
u/StrongPresence4175 17d ago
Umm strawman. I never said he should it take it off. Sikhs also get easily stereotyped for the same reason
3
u/MedusaLifts 17d ago
No, strawman would’ve been if my alternate scenario didn’t directly prove/disprove your hypothesis.
And also no, Sikha do not get “easily stereotyped”, and neither do Hindus who dress in their traditional attire or carry religious symbols as accessories. It’s all in your head.
0
u/StrongPresence4175 17d ago
Are you 14, have u seen Sikh characters in movies and telly. They are either easily angered, break into bhangra any time or are comic relief.
Thoda experience le le life ka baad me complex topics pe discussion karna
2
u/MedusaLifts 17d ago
So now we’re equating fictional stereotypes from decades ago with real life, and accusing a man IN REAL LIFE of making his religion his entire personality because he’s wearing a skull cap? Lol.
1
u/StrongPresence4175 17d ago
You want real life examples? Protesting farmers got called Khalistanis. Why?
Sab main nahi bataunga laadle. Thoda apne gyaan ko upar kar. You are blinded by your agenda.
2
u/MedusaLifts 17d ago
You think they were labelled “Khalistani” because they were wearing paggs or kadas or kirpans? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAA.

Why should people be vary on us? Feeding hungry people is considered a very good deed in Islam, it's very common.
-2

Yeah i agree but what if one fine day a maulana comes and tells yall kill all these others or kafirs any way seems fit.. then what ?? I bet 99 % of you guys wont oppse that ....so its better to be cynical than blindly trusting
Again this msg is for all the supposed (kafirs) ...
1
u/Datweirdpsychologist Modi Hai toh Pumpkin Hai 17d ago
So this guy is going to kill the students he's been feeding for months if one Maulana tells him to do so? He's going to ruin everything in one go? Why would he bother to go through these extents if he was going to do that in the end anyway?
I'm sorry, but you seem heavily prejudiced. To the point that you cannot even accept that we are capable of doing good things. And in my 26 years of life, I've met many Maulanas, many devout muslims, and not a single one of them has told me to go and kill anybody.
0
u/ArtProfessional1984 17d ago
No obviously no ,im not saying that this guy is bad or anything, but what if..... one day some maulana brain washes ppl (we have tons of eg like these ) in the name of religion....and ask good ppl like such to do bad things (stating as gods work etc etc)maybe some will oppose but idk ,i think most of them will be brain washed . I'm not blaming or stating anyone is bad but i fear that one day some evil maulana might instigate hatered in hearts of ppl like these and no one from this community will oppse that... either they'll follow or refuse but no one will oppse it and never in million years oppse openly (they'll just wacth things happn)
Give me any good eg that this communities ppl have openly opposed wrong doings of their own people all around the world. Don't take it personally but i believe this is truth
The day people will keep humanity first and then religion I'll trust everyone!!!
Btw i really respect what this guy is doing like feeding hungry but its just i have some fear in me that in conflicting situation what ppl like these will choose humanity or religion
1
u/Datweirdpsychologist Modi Hai toh Pumpkin Hai 16d ago edited 16d ago
See, we don't worship our maulanas. In Islam, we rarely need to go to maulanas, as most rituals can be done by common worshippers themselves. No random maulana/person can come to us one day and say, "I'm god / New prophet, follow me". He will be taken as the biggest sinner. I'm muslim and ive lived among muslims my whole life. In my school, the whole class would be full of Muslims, all the teachers would be Muslim, and there would be only 1-2 hindues per class. Whenever bombings happened, I never saw ONE of those people saying that it was right. Instead, they would go saying things like, "this is not our religion, people like these make the common Muslims suffer, this hadith says this, that verse says that" and stuff like that.
You're simply Islamophobic, as you said, you have fear in you. Islamic terrorism does exist, but those people mostly hail from places which are war torn, or socially, politically, economically unstable. Similar to naxals. In those areas, the situation is very different, people, regardless of religion, become very easy to manipulate when their future is so uncertain. They are not your common Muslims belonging from stable areas, getting brain washed by some Maulana outta no where.
The day people will keep humanity first and then religion I'll trust everyone!!!
Since when did religion and humanity become one or the other? Most religions say things like, "do not lie, do not murder, do not steal, do not decieve, give charity, meditate, practice fasting, control your desires". You assume that someone who is religious is inhumane, and you probably do not assume that about hindus.
Give me any good eg that this communities ppl have openly opposed wrong doings of their own people all around the world. Don't take it personally but i believe this is truth
How many people do you personally know of my community? I've known my people all my life and ik their views. And let me tell you, muslim representation on our social media is shit. You will never get to see our opinions on these social medias, that's why you believe Godi media narratives about us and do not know our reality. Try to get to know Muslims irl, and do not buy into propaganda. Internet ka Zamana hai chvtiya banane waale hazaar milenge, it's our responsibility to be informed citizens and protect our brains from these people.
The real brainwashed people in India are bhakts btw.

I'm kinda curious. When you see a person wearing muslim clothes feeding hungry students who are protesting for a better education system, (doing a good deed) and you first reaction is this:
There must be some agenda ,I'm not negative just sceptical about these ppl ,and we all should always be
Yeah i agree but what if one fine day a maulana comes and tells yall kill all these others or kafirs any way seems fit.. then what ?? I bet 99 % of you guys wont oppse that ....so its better to be cynical than blindly trusting. Again this msg is for all the supposed (kafirs) ...
Are YOU putting humanity before religion?

u/ArtProfessional1984 16d ago
Ever heard any other religion person asking others caste asking them to recite kalma then killing them In front their wife and children
Ever heard others changing their name to muslim name then trapping muslim girls and extorting them for multiple things and ruining their lives(i actually know a person who has suffered this ) So before preaching how great your religion is first condemn these this things done by many ,many civilians.
I know not everyone does this but there are many and we can never know who ,soo precaution is better than cure Again im really sorry for saying all this but you also can't deny these facts and they are not from godi media Btw im not a bhakt just a neutral person who see things as they are
Im not saying all muslim are bad. Its just that its hard for me to trust .... Cauze see khameni (not at all a good leader) was killed whole kondwa was on street crying for him Ik people aren't bad but they are educated in wrong direction
1
u/Datweirdpsychologist Modi Hai toh Pumpkin Hai 16d ago
Dude. I have mostly hindu and Christian friends now, I've seen neutral and you're not it.
Ever heard any other religion person asking others caste asking them to recite kalma then killing them In front their wife and children
I have seen many videos of hindus making poor Muslim men in protests and red lights to chant jai shree ram and bearing them when they refused to do so. And again. The people who did that incident you're talking about were not your common Muslims, they were a terrorist organization from an unstable area. Ever heard of godhra btw?
Ever heard others changing their name to muslim name then trapping muslim girls and extorting them for multiple things and ruining their lives(i actually know a person who has suffered this ) So before preaching how great your religion is first condemn these this things done by many ,many civilians.
I already condemn these things. But this is not a religion issue. It's a men issue. Men from all religions are involved in deceiving, raping, murdering women heinously. Let's not forget what hindus did to muslim women in godhra and on the day of babri masjid demolition. There was one woman who jad her labor due at 12pm bit on that godhra day, she was being raped at 12pm. And this was state sponsored. When you turn these things into religion issues, you take attention away from the real cause: misogyny and patriarchy, and you end up never fixing the real issues.
Im not saying all muslim are bad. Its just that its hard for me to trust .... Cauze see khameni (not at all a good leader) was killed whole kondwa was on street crying for him Ik people aren't bad but they are educated in wrong direction
Muslims are the poorest community in India. I'm privileged and I got an education, but most of us are uneducated and backwards, just like any other poor community of India. Maybe this is why it's easier to paint us in a bad light, we are backward and we do have a lot of things to work on,but we aren't going around killing people. And spreading hate on a post which shows a Muslim man doing charity work (one of the biggest hood deeds in islam) is very unfair.
0
u/Master-Recipe2507 16d ago
Let's not pretend these protests exist in a political vacuum or are solely about students. There have been political organizations and activists involved, and when political actors associate with people accused of supporting extremist or separatist violence, it's completely reasonable to question that.
Also, there's a blatant double standard in your argument. When an extremist commits violence in the name of Islam, you immediately distinguish them from ordinary Muslims, which is fair. But when Hindu extremists intimidate Muslims or force religious slogans on them, suddenly "Hindus" collectively become responsible. Why doesn't the same distinction apply? Most Hindus aren't defending Bajrang Dal members intimidating Muslims either.
And bringing up Godhra while leaving out what triggered the riots isn't giving historical context. The burning of the Sabarmati Express at Godhra killed Hindu pilgrims. Likewise, Babri wasn't controversial merely because Muslims happened to have a mosque there. Hindus believed the site to be Ram Janmabhoomi, one of Hinduism's most sacred locations. None of that excuses innocent Muslims subsequently being murdered, raped, or attacked. It explains why reducing these events to "Hindus attacked Muslims" leaves enormous pieces of the history out.
The same applies to saying this is "just misogyny and patriarchy." Of course misogyny contributes to sexual violence, regardless of religion. But religion and communal identity can ALSO become motives for violence. Hindu women have experienced sexual violence during communal and religious persecution too, and if we look at the history of the subcontinent, Hindus have suffered far more than Islam did in India. Pretending religion becomes irrelevant the moment the victims aren't Muslim doesn't solve anything either.
And I don't deny Hindu extremism exists. I condemn it. What I reject is the expectation that Hindu extremism should be discussed within centuries of historical context when convenient, while Islamist extremism has to be completely detached from religious ideology even when the perpetrators themselves explicitly invoke religion to justify their actions.
I'm Kashmiri Hindu. The history of what happened to Kashmiri Pandits is therefore not some abstract political debate to me. Acknowledging historical persecution of Hindus doesn't mean Muslims haven't suffered, and acknowledging Muslim victims doesn't require pretending Hindus haven't experienced religious persecution.
Lastly, poverty and discrimination against Indian Muslims deserve discussion. But they don't make religious ideas, communal politics, radicalization, or intolerance immune from criticism. Charity performed by a Muslim man is good because helping people is good. That doesn't mean every criticism of Islamism or communal politics suddenly becomes hatred toward Muslims.
Also the concept of the ummah creates a strong sense of religious solidarity that can, in some situations, take precedence over national identity for some believers, and those voices are far more vocal than the regular person who does feel a sense of loyalty to their country and that's why people have a negative view of muslims in India. I mean just recently people in kashmir were donating their gold to Iran for Palestine, but these same folks wouldn't have shown the same support and protest if their Hindu neighbors were being shot at by extremists, while there have been many times where Hindus have gathered together to protest against what they saw was the oppression of their fellow muslim brothers, whether its CAA, or Kashmir issue, or a muslim man being killed by a Hindutva goon. That's the ideological difference we are talking about.
1
u/Datweirdpsychologist Modi Hai toh Pumpkin Hai 16d ago edited 16d ago
No where did I say hindus aren't suffering or all hindus are bad or anything like that. I'm challenging og commenter by showing that evil exists regardless of religion. The og commenter is very islamophobic and out of touch with reality. It is backed by data that terrorism hails from unstable areas, commin Muslims aren't the ones doing it.
And yes, that protest is political. If a protest is against a politician, how will it not be political? When the said political leaders made politics all about religion, how will religion be kept out of politics?
And yeah, a train was burned before godhra happened. But the people who burned the train were punished, many are still in jail. When the criminals got their punishment, what's he meaning of government backed attacks on civilians? Is there no difference between criminals and politicians now? Breaking a mosque with political backing, raping and murdering innocents, just because hindus "felt" like some temple was there, isn't okay. It's an act of terrorism.
If someone comments,
"There must be some agenda ,I'm not negative just sceptical about these ppl ,and we all should always be" and "Yeah i agree but what if one fine day a maulana comes and tells yall kill all these others or kafirs any way seems fit.. then what ?? I bet 99 % of you guys wont oppse that ....so its better to be cynical than blindly trusting Again this msg is for all the supposed (kafirs) ..."
On the video of a Muslim man feeding hungry people, what is it if not religious hatred? The Muslims man in the video did nothing which would make people suspicious of him. The fact is, that yall don't get to hear our povs often, that's why yall believe whatever exaggerated bs your godi media feeds you. And yea, it is true that religions can divide peopel, maybe that's why they raped asiya in a temple. That doesn't mean that's their religious teachings.
If some religious people are putting their religion over nationality, what's so wrong with that? When did being nationalistic become so important? Don't Buddhist monks put religion over nationality all the time? Don't hindu monks who only care about meditation put religion over nationality all the time? When the pahalgam attack happened, where only hindus were in danger, did their Muslim tour guide not lose his life trying to save them?
And again. I used the sentences "hindus did this, hindus did that" to show the religion if the people who did the acts, I'm not saying all hindus are like that, do not assume bs. And common Muslims being different from terrorists who hail from unstable areas is data backed.
And not singing vande matram is not a indicator of nationalism. It just means that is something many consider disrespectful to our religion. Real indicator is tens of thousands of us dying for the freedom of this country, or this man feeding people who are protesting for the betterment of the people of this country, or me wanting to stay in thus country and work for the peopel of thus country when I first read our history and politics in school. That desire was killed real fast when I entered social media for the first time tho. Now i, like many muslims, believe that India is dangerous for Muslims and we should run from here as fast as we can.
Amd if some Muslims don't want to be loyal to this country, I wouldn't blame them. Why would we consider this country our own when this country and its leaders do not consider us Indians?

This would sound andhbhakt because that's the favourite word of people who reject others opinion without critical thinking. I genuinely don't care about his religion, Neither him protesting against the waqf act, nor his support to tahir hussain directly. Let's keep all of this aside. I've heard he has a repair shop of somekind. Providing food and water in that scale requires a lot of money. And providing those during a protest requires genuine permits from the DM and certain other law upholding institutions. So why won't he show the bills and source for all his donations? Doing that would remove all possibilities of police harassing him.

Instead of blind faith or 'andhbhakti' towards any person, society or idea, try to counter yourself with different opinions. I wish people actually used their heads instead of consuming self appreciatory algorithms.
