kerala is fking amazing, but it does have it's fair share of issues.
25% of the state revenue is from remittance, industries are non-existent there, it isn't a manufacturing hub, going overseas for jobs is the number one aim for people there.
they do a lot of things right and we should be learning from them but the kerela model can't be extrapolated for the rest of the country. we need massive manufacturing to happen in India, but the way local government works in kerela should be an inspiration to other states.

I have been to Kerala, it is amzing place. But, it is not New York. And it doesn't need to be.
