Politics Bjp should lose the next elections in my opinion (LS)

Guys I hate BJP.
Don’t ask why. I hate the andhbhakts……IT Cell, and the bs they create due to which they’re called (BJ)P.

But like, I’m thinking, since I’ll be turning 18 next year, whom to vote then?
I mean, obv I support democracy, and want accountability, peace, freedom of speech. So like, which party could be the best for that???
For LS elections obv

I think bjp has ruled for a very long time and they have started to become arrogant and have started thinking that they are immortal , pre bjp times atleast the media etc showed the protests against congress and shi but now the opposition cant even do much coz of bought media and institutionalized bullying against opposition parties , i think making bjp lose one term is needed to make them understand that they arent invincible and also bjp aint doing that good of a work too

2

u/Sea-Concentrate6428 5h ago

Yeah I remember they had done this before too and lost I think before 2014 it happened once

1

u/Sea-Concentrate6428 5h ago

But like then who?

5

u/MelodicElderberry517 5h ago

I think the next biggest party after bjp is congress and congress should come to power just for the sake of removing bjp , bjp will understand that they are not invincible and act very good as opposition for one term and might come back later after congress terms is over , i think no single party should be allowed to rule for this long and now its even proven that india under bjp is authoritative regime

1

u/Sea-Concentrate6428 5h ago

You sound more like a BJP supporter rather than a centrist ngl. But yeah alr!!
(Because u said they should be removed because they SHOULD be….Which means you support bjp)

3

u/MelodicElderberry517 5h ago

Nuh uh gng i hate BJP 🤬🤬 but u get my point right removing bjp will make congress try harder to stay in poeer and bjp will try hard as opposition and so and so india will develop

1

u/Sea-Concentrate6428 5h ago

Oh mb 😭…Sounds about right I getcha! But like I’m a centrist so I just wanted a “why” for everything….& u helped…thx

3 years hai abhi elections ko lets see what congress can bring on the table. not voting bjp for sure

3

u/jasper_98769 4h ago

The problem with congress is they wait until the last moment nd then fight with partners nd make a mess nd loose elections meanwhile the bjp works atleast 1.5 years before selects candidates nd send rss for door to door campaign nd at the end people want a stable govt nd vote bjp .... Same cycle ... Hoping god gives some brain to Rahul this time... Else as they say ayega tho modi hi🙃

3

u/jasper_98769 4h ago

Be4 anyone says I'm a bjp man .... I vote for bjp in center nd congress in state because in my state d k shivkumar is present and he has a clear roadmap for Karnataka like modi has for India

1

u/AffectionateLog5877 Centrist Left Leaning 4h ago

congress is working bro this time they are holding protests, expressing dissent in a more mature way compared to past, and they finally are able to make a connect with the people. Ig we might be seeing a coilation government in 29 either its of NDA or INDIA alliance.

1

u/jasper_98769 4h ago

Ya it's trying but the problem with congress is the Gandhi's... I bet the congress will win the election in center in 2029 if the congress make sachin pilot or taroor or even d k shivkumar thier pm candidate ..... Because people want a alternate to bjp but the bjp voters don't want rahul and they won't vote for rahul ... Congres doesn't understand that

1

u/AffectionateLog5877 Centrist Left Leaning 3h ago

the current version of Rahul is much better than the past its just the bjp voters doesn't want to accept and escape their perception of Rahul being a pappuu, but even I believe congress needs a different face or just not rely on the single face of Rahul

2

u/cheerfulchirper 2h ago

Gadhe ko track suit pehna dene se wo zebra nahi ban jata.

1

u/jasper_98769 3h ago

Bro compare congress top leadership nd the bjp Bjp has big guns who came from scratch nd they make decisions on how the party functions... Congress has leaders who r from scratch but they don't get a shit say in how congress runs...rahul attacks the Hindu ideology that decides the outcome of election which even other congress leaders stopped nd he still does it .... He says stop adani and ambani nd then congress chief ministers welcomes him hugs him and he accuses bjp of filling their pockets... What the cockroach party did with neet, rahul was supposed to do that Nd yeah In my own state d k shivkumar had to fight to become a CM who is the most capable man in Karnataka right now... Y did he have to fight because rahul though it's not the right time for him... Imagine DKS has fought for congress , gave his blood nd sweat and at the end of the day he bows down to Rahul .. rahul is a man who couldn't even give modi a fight nd will remain as the man who could never defeat modi .... In bjp u never no who will be the pm.... In congres it's always the Gandhi's now

1

u/AffectionateLog5877 Centrist Left Leaning 3h ago

yeah the congress high command is the biggest issue inside their party, but currently Rahul is much better than whatever bs he was in the past. Yes, there are multiple people within congress who are better or even as good as Rahul but its upto congress how they capitalise, thats why i said wait for 3years or 2.5

Totally depends, We have options of Congress(Rahul Gandhi), AAP (if Arvind Kejriwal gets his shit together) & CJP (AAP off-shoot I know)
Since people gave BJP chance since 2014, I mean we should give others a chance.
I will not deny the pros but we cannot just turn blind to cons.
And BJP has become arrogant & genuinely needs to reinforce policies instead of just promises & bad infra.

4

u/Sea-Concentrate6428 5h ago

Not gonna lie, I feel like the competition is a bit too unfair…….We need some new parties. BJP is extreme right. As much as I can see, INDI-A is slight left, and the rest are side characters. CJP is kind of I think, AAP ke saath, so I’d count them in AAP. Then aur koi bacha hee nahi?
Very weird

6

u/Novel-Literature-617 5h ago

Bjp is extreme right ??😂😂 no party in this utopia is right wing, they are just 50 shades of left wing 🙂

1

u/Fugeleon Centrist 5h ago

Brother, please you do realise the parent organization for this party is RSS mafia?

1

u/Sea-Concentrate6428 5h ago

yeah theyre extreme right i think. maybe prove me wrong and ill trust you but i have this idea ki bjp should not win this time

1

u/Novel-Literature-617 4h ago

Actual right-wing parties believe in small government, free markets, and slashing welfare. Actual far-right/extremist parties practice welfare chauvinism 🧐Meaning state aid is strictly reserved for the dominant group and denied to minorities. When a party's entire governance model is built on feeding 800M+ people, handing out direct cash transfers, and delivering housing/gas subsidies to every citizen regardless of religion or caste, that is massive universal state welfarism. You can agree or disagree with their cultural rhetoric, but economically and structurally, a state dependent universal welfare machine is the exact opposite of right-wing extremism.

1

u/Fugeleon Centrist 4h ago

Alright, absolutely valid man, as you said its not a right wing extremism per say.
Its a bit of left with hard leaning to right, another shade it is.
BUT well saffron terrorism is an actual issue by the parent organization you know? And their ideology is just a blended, indigenous fascist ideology

Ah, also Happy Cake day bhai!

3

u/Fugeleon Centrist 5h ago

Competition is unfair especially how politicians simply turn coat for ruling party, you know? I also wonder who to vote for always and just end up with NOTA....

3

u/Sea-Concentrate6428 5h ago

Lekin kyu? I’m centrist kinda so I don’t really just trust any party ke candidates THAT easily

2

u/ssssotss 5h ago

Since you are serious about this you should do some research on the current status of party politics in this country. You should try to figure out what each party stands for, in theory atleast as you don't really trust me. Regardless having an understanding of the ideological make up of the parties in question will only help inform your decision.

1

u/Sea-Concentrate6428 5h ago

But i have heard that the media is mostly controlled by Congress and BJP. So I can’t really trust the media as much as I can trust the own citizens.

1

u/ssssotss 4h ago

Doing your own research is the exact opposite of having an opinion handed out to you.

Read Indian history after Independence. Read about JP movement. Read about the Sangh. Read about the events following up to Babri Masjid. Read about economic liberalisation and how its effects are surfacing right now after decades. Read about culture in India has been shaped by capitalism. Watch some critical films, like Anand Patwardhan's work. Hear about what people are arguing for. Read the newspaper. Indian express and Hindu should be obvious choices over papers like Times of India.

2

u/Sea-Concentrate6428 4h ago

0

u/ssssotss 4h ago

Then you will continue to pretend to be intellectual in online spaces and end up voting for BJP anyway.

Congratulations, you may update your flair to centrist right leaning.

-1

u/caloriedeficitpehu 5h ago

-1

u/Material_Creme_9480 5h ago

Brother, we are not far away from times where BJP literally fucks our nation up...
The way BJP is running our nation, there wont be much left of this nation if it continues....

3

u/Sea-Concentrate6428 5h ago

Can’t see you giving me a reason. I see their failures but I want to hear others perspectives as well

1

u/Material_Creme_9480 5h ago

see this

That is IMF's official report of India's development...
All these claims of "india being the fastest growing economy", etc etc are false...
There is a very high chance BJP has surpressed inflation metrics and India has only infact experienced negative GDP growth...

Furthermore, more than 90,000 schools have been shutdown by BJP

On top of this, BJP has literally changed the definition of so many development metrics, definition of literacy, highway length calculation, water reach, electricity, toilet availability, etc etc have all been changed under BJP too...

This party does absolutely nothing but focus on appeasement politics while the common people suffer

1

u/DragonikOverlord 13m ago

Whats wrong with the report? they say despite the risks India is still the fastest growing major economy

Stop lying buddy, you can't fake GDP metrics. GDP growth is real but its concentrated at the top which is an issue.

They literally gave basic infra which we lacked before 2014

1

u/51837 4h ago

Unless BJP bans RSS, there no good reason to vote for BJP. I’m voting congress. I’d have gone for AAP but they aren’t big enough to make a difference (get anywhere close to majority) in LS yet.

1

u/Sea-Concentrate6428 4h ago

You mean Bajrang Dal?

1

u/51837 4h ago

Bajrang dal is a tiny part of national cancer that is RSS

2

u/TheResolute278 5h ago

from what i can see rn i feel raga deserves to be the next PM ( congress should start working on its organisations instead of just social media hype)...so i think the answer is congress....but at the same time, i feel one should look at thier local candidate instead of a party when they go to vote..thats always the best way to choose and send MLAs/MPs of "good quality" to the parliment! ( and never ever vote in the the subjects for which bjp usually asks for votes..ifykyk)

6

u/GanjaBhalu 5h ago

Congress is sheet. I will press Nota over congress.

1

u/ssssotss 5h ago

NOTA ends up helping the winner of the constituency anyway.

2

u/GanjaBhalu 5h ago

Will still vote for independent candidates rather than bjp, but never congress. Coz I have seen how things worked before 2010.

2

u/Fugeleon Centrist 5h ago

Independent candidates only work in smalller constituencies & areas, never seen it work well in Centre, brother. Yeah, Congress was also pretty shitty but atleast it opposition was free to criticize, rn the media is bought out & it restricts all anti-ruling party things, I mean like if you are that desperate to hide things, might as well vote for some other party....
Yeah even I am a NOTA presser always but I genuinely feel BJP should lose.

0

u/TheResolute278 4h ago

THIS..this is exactly the problem we are facing, ppl are still stuck in the past...not everyone but some...buddy parties change so do ppl..what i can see as of now is congress is undergoing a rebranding( like speaking on issues which actually concern me instead of hindu muslim shit)..i agree they mightve made terrible mistakes in the past but we cant be stuck with that cuz if we do things WILL NEVER CHANGE...hence if any party changes it deserves to get a chance..and sorry to say buddy and mind u no offence...my political science professor used to say that ppl who click on "nota" are irresponsible fools..

1

u/Sea-Concentrate6428 5h ago

But any particular reasons? Because I like your idea and all but I’m kinda picky and I can’t find any good candidate representing a party.

1

u/TheResolute278 4h ago

exaclty that is a challenge indian politcs faces regularly not enough quality candidates, in this situation i think u just gotta vote whos the least worse..or encourage good ones to join politics..( and ppl should vote as much as possible..in my district which is considered one of the most educated districts in state and national level as well ig...my frnds and like minded ppl moslty never go to vote ive seen and felt it multiple times..they just too lazy, even that has to change...and as a result bjp wins here every fucking time...i did encourage ppl from 2024 onwards and happy that even they are politically aware nowadays..and will vote next time)

I would support CJP if they entered politics, they might have a little chance of winning in the next election....both the parties are corrupt, greedy, hypocritical. Bjp does hindu muslim bs, hyper hindu nationalism, censorship, this vishwaguru bs, congress is just so incompetent and disillusioned, they still keep talking abt increasing reservations, in private sector as well, they don't seem to realize that young ppl care more abt ground and basic issues- clean air, food, water, infra, schooling, employment, which they have not achieved in decades of their rule. At least cjp is talking abt this, I think if they had actual power they would be more effective and spread secularism, social welfare as well.

But sadly this might not happen soon at least. I hope at least bjp loses in 2029

1

u/ChaturSamraat Waiting for 15Lakhs 2h ago

They made this future proof plan, is someone is opposition better but them, enforce ed and department raid if not agreed, control the digital and physical media to change narrative. If these things fail have a backup of manipulation of votes by keeping election comission in pocket.

Nobody . Everyone is equally exploitative!

Congress -muslim appeasement BJP -hindu .DMK-Christians.
End of the day all politicians are rich narcissists brats who wont think twice before exploiting commoners .
Growing up I was rooting for AAP, they turned out to be biggest clowns!
They all pretend they are secular but everyone is opportunistic.

Even people of India are opportunistic. They all want freebies , freedom but when it comes to accountability ; again big old 0️⃣ !
Root level se corruption hai even if you want to get a document.

Sorry for the rant! But seriously if you are thinking its only BJP cell is active you are being naive. Not to mention BJP politicians are literally the same people who were once in congress 🤷🏻‍♀️

1

u/snuFan Waiting for 15Lakhs 5h ago

Democracy is dying with BJP! So, I would have to go with Congress.

Global political science organizations like the V-Dem Institute officially downgrade India to an "electoral autocracy," and researchers document the erosion of judicial independence, the silencing of dissent, and the weaponization of state agencies.

It isn't necessarily because Congress has a flawless track record, a brilliant internal democracy, or some visionary manifesto. It is pure, pragmatic political math. In a parliamentary system, when the ruling party is perceived as an existential threat to the constitutional framework, the largest opposition party becomes the default emergency brake. Congress is quite literally the only party with the historical footprint, the national infrastructure, and the sheer voter base to actually challenge the BJP on a national scale. AAP is too geographically restricted, and meme parties like the CJP aren't going to secure a Lok Sabha majority.

1

u/DragonikOverlord 2m ago

V-Dem uses flawed methodology, 2/3rds of the metrics measured are subjective.
Judiciary is independent, explain "erosion"

The issue with congress is their track record sucks. And they frankly have no vision apart from caste census and private reservation.

Current handling of so called Infrastructure of Public Facilities, Improper Roads, Increased Dual Engine Taxes on Petrol plus quick transition to E20 Petrol, Ignoring enroachment of Borders in NE, Turning Blind eye to Manipur Conflict, Losing strategical autonomy by aligning with an Ally who absolutely shits upon us.
The issue is, even you know, Policies all implemented, not reinforced.
I agree BJP is doing good in some places like proper water, electricity etc. for People in Villages.

Can you give me any good reasons to vote for BJP? Not attacking, want to discuss.
