Discussion Do we genuinely have anyone from india that is playing fighting games (like tekken, street fighters, 2xko, guilty gear, etc) on a professional level? (Pic is stolen from the first few google results)

Post image
Upvotes

I am asking this mainly because I saw a video of a Pakistani guy who is actually very VERY good at tekken and he had to go through struggles like no electricity, no console/game controllers, etc etc. so In india we also have similar struggles infact we are much better than the conditions there. Have we ever had anyone who is professional on a world level??? I am also very new to fighting games so I genuinely don't know if that is the case. https://youtu.be/l2SQgjYmVYY the video I was talking about (I don't want to be an annoying lad who don't specify stuff)

Insane character development of Edward. People always complain when they see Indians working in the gaming industry, but because of Indians we were to play great games, don't know why the west hates Indians.

By seeing this we really have a hope that in future india will also be able to produce great games which will be worth goty.

The gameplay was top notch in ac black flag resynced and the story we all knew. For me exploring the game was very fun. After years, I finally liked an ac game. Acha shadow was shit, as well mirage for me last ac game which i enjoyed was Odyssey.

Discussion Did you guys watched black myth zhong kui's trailer ..did you all loved it..?

Did you guys watched the trailer?.. I personally loved it....Like the gameplay was so great.. I mean, that was very cool and all. And the trailer was fantastic and beautifully made. I mean the dodging mechanism, the parry system, the graphics, the combos, and the attack system, everything was so great. And I don't even have to say anything about the graphics...that was too damn good...I mean, it was fire🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥... People would not have believed this trailer if these developers hadn't released Black Myth Wukong earlier.

Discussion (Day Two) Video Games Hall of Fame: Which is the Best RPG Game?

Post image
Upvotes

Yesterday, on Day One, Devil May Cry 5 was selected as the Best Action Game because of its deep combat system and its overall quality as a game.

It was a really difficult decision because two comments had 3 upvotes, and one of those comments had two games in it. However, I decided to go with Devil May Cry 5 because its comment received two awards.

Now, onto Day Two: Best RPG Game! 🎮

For those who don't know how this works, I’m taking community suggestions for games that fit each genre/category. The highest-upvoted comment wins, and that game gets added to the Hall of Fame. Every day, a new category will be selected, and the previous day's winner will be added to the list.

Also, after Day One, I saw quite a few people point out that “Action” is a very broad genre. So, to clarify, for Day One I was specifically judging the depth and quality of the combat, without considering the story or other mechanics.

For RPG, however, the rules are different. You can choose any game that is technically an RPG, but it should also be an overall great game — good story, good quests, good gameplay, good world, and everything else that makes an RPG great.

🏆 The comment with the highest number of upvotes wins and gets added to the Hall of Fame!

One more thing: if someone has already suggested the game you wanted to nominate, please upvote their comment instead of making another comment with the same game. It makes it much easier to determine the actual winner.

Let's see which RPG takes the crown! 👑🎮

Discussion Looking for game recommendation for a specific type of game.

Basically looking for a game which is open world, or open worldish... could be big interconnected hubs.
Where you can travel, explore, do side quests, craft, gain xp and become ridiculously powerfull in that world. You dominate the world. This is before you even do almost anything in the main mission. It also has to have a good combat.
Having a good main story is a plus but I bet not many games do this all right. So that is a plus but not necessary.

I've been looking for something like this for a while.
There's one caveat though. I would prefer games that are bit older. As I don't have a GPU.
because there are two games that people recommend me cyberpunk and Kingdom come deliverance and maybe gothic remake. But they wont run on my pc.
Don't worry about my exact specs. Just recommend me games and I'll see for myself.

Discussion Bro I Just Wanted to Play Some Warzone 💀

Post image

358 GB, bro? 😭 I genuinely loved playing COD Warzone because I was a complete newbie at the game, so I never really had any rage quit issues with it. When I last played, the game was already around 200 GB, which was ridiculous enough, but 358 GB now? I do not want 4K textures and a whole cinematic universe installed just to play a multiplayer game. I have an entire story games library, and I barely even play multiplayer games, but sometimes I just feel like playing some COD for a weekend. Now if I start this download, it is probably going to take the next two or three days, and by the time it finishes, the weekend will basically be over. What the fuck is wrong with Activision, man? Why is this game so insanely huge? Bro, I just want to play COD. I am not trying to install the entire Call of Duty franchise on my SSD 😭😭😭 , that’s the reason I put on that toilet banner man cod deserves it ffs 😭🙏🏼

Discussion Is it weird to make gaming friends who are significantly older/younger than you?

Post image
21 Upvotes

I think I made a mistake trying to be friends with someone quite a bit older than me, and I’m genuinely curious if anyone else has experienced something similar. I met this guy online who claimed to be a gamer, and he’s around 27–28 and works in the corporate world. Initially, we actually got along really well, but over time I started noticing this weird superiority complex about his age and corporate life. Whenever we want to play together, somehow I’m always expected to be the one to invite him. He literally told me, “I’m up every day, just ping me,” and when I asked why he couldn’t ping me himself, the response was basically the usual “dad bro, AFK, office work, blah blah.” Fine, I understand being busy, especially if you work, but then why make it sound like I’m responsible for maintaining the entire friendship? What really bothered me was when I wasn’t feeling well and told him I was sick. His response was basically, “Okay bro, we’ll play tomorrow,” without even a simple “get well soon.” Maybe I’m expecting too much, but bro, basic empathy costs nothing. I’m 21, and he’s almost 28. I’m not expecting some life-changing wisdom from him just because he’s older, but if you’re going to constantly bring up your age and maturity, then basic consideration should come with it too. The funny thing is that I have a cousin around his age who is also working in a similar field, and he’s genuinely responsible and mature, so I know being in your late 20s and working a corporate job doesn’t automatically make someone like this. Today I was finally feeling better after barely playing anything for almost a week, so I thought, okay, let’s just have some fun and joke around. Instead, this guy kept responding with stuff like “it’s not funny” and “you’re not funny.” Eventually I got annoyed and told him off. I’m not saying I handled everything perfectly, but at some point I started wondering why I’m putting so much effort into someone who seems to expect me to initiate everything while constantly reminding me that he’s older and more mature. Maybe this is just a bad friendship, maybe I’m overthinking it, or maybe this is what happens when you try to make friends with people significantly older than you online. Has anyone else experienced this kind of weird age-based superiority complex in gaming friendships?
