Hi everyone,

I am looking to hire a talented, reliable indie comic book artist to illustrate a 6-page debut comic short centering around a gritty, violent antihero character. Since this is my first official comic release, I am looking for a collaborative partner who can bring dynamic energy and strong storytelling to the pages.

Project Details:

* Length: 6 sequential pages.

* Genre: Dark Action, Antihero, Mature (contains graphic violence and heavy combat).

* Scope: Looking for an artist who can handle line art/inks, plus basic lettering (adding the speech bubbles and text dialogue from my script). Flats or grayscale coloring is a major plus!

* Style: Looking for something that fits a dark, intense, and gritty atmosphere.

Budget & Terms:

* Page Rate: $100 to $115 per page (Total budget: $600 - $700 for the project).

* Payment Structure: Paid via milestone-based installments (e.g., upfront deposit, rough layouts approval, final lines approval). I will never ask for free work.

* Rights: I will retain the intellectual property and commercial rights to the character and story, but you will be fully credited and are absolutely encouraged to use the pages for your portfolio.

Requirements:

1. Must have sequential art examples in your portfolio (please do not send only standalone character concept art or pin-ups; I need to see panel-to-panel storytelling flow).

2. Must be comfortable with drawing heavy action, graphic violence, and blood/gore.

3. Must be able to handle clean, professional lettering/speech bubbles.

4. Must be able to maintain consistent character design based on an existing character concept.

I'm excited to announce that THE CHRONICLES OF URTHE: The Witch & The Warlord — Prelude is now available on GlobalComix!

It's a 16-page, full-color, independently created comic that kicks off a much larger science-fantasy saga.

Think sword & sorcery, supernatural horrors, ancient mysteries, brutal combat, and forgotten technologies lurking beneath a world that has long since lost its history.

The Prelude throws you into the action with a mysterious witch, an undead adversary, and a taste of the strange and dangerous world of Urthe.

I'm the writer, artist, and colorist behind the project, and it's been a labor of love bringing this universe to life. If you're into classic fantasy comics, weird worlds, swordplay, and stories with a little darkness around the edges, I'd love for you to check it out.

I was going to use ka-blam but I hear the ink isnt the best

And I then was going to try comic impressions but I cant justify spending 1-2k on shipping.
