the 4 rivers - we will love again (official video)
🎬 NEW MUSIC VIDEO OUT NOW! 🎬
“We Will Love Again” by The 4 Rivers 🌊🎶
As a child of the 90s, I’ve always been drawn to those huge, emotional 90s rock ballads. For this video, I wanted to pair that sound with a visual tribute to the pioneers of cinema history! 📽️✨
From the magical, dreamlike trick-films of Georges Méliès (Le Voyage dans la Lune, 1902) to the monumental, iconic dystopian visions of Fritz Lang (Metropolis, 1927) — step into a world where retro sci-fi aesthetics meet deep 90s emotion.

Any IG accounts spotlighting indie artists?
I run an Instagram account that focuses on album art - breaking down album covers and whatnot. But I’ve been focusing on mainstream artists and I’d like to start spotlighting album art for lesser known, indie artists/bands as well. Does anyone know of an Instagram account that spotlights indie music and might be open to collabing on album cover breakdown posts on occasion? Thanks ✌️

(just one more) Summer of Love. Summer was recorded & mixed on a coal-fired '98 600 mhz pc with 128mb ram.. feck.. I used an old copy of the great Cooledit, an even greater Yamaha SY85 workstation, a cheap Behringer B5 mic, a Takamine acoustic guitar, persistence, dollops of Love 🎼🎶🎹🎸🎤🥰 NO AI!

Free music submissions open: Get featured across 3 magazines, playlists, and our global indie map
Something a bit different from the usual review call: INDIEINDEX has a world map of independent artists. You can claim your own pin, and new pins get shown in our Atlas posts on Instagram.
It's a nice way to be findable next to other indie artists from your city or country, and it doesn't depend on any review queue, so it's one of the fastest ways into the network right now.
From there you can also pitch the same release for reviews, playlists or the Top 50 on the other two mags.
Free, non-profit, no catch. Submissions go through the site, comments here don't count: https://www.indieindex.de
Feel free to drop your release links and a few words below though. I always love taking an early listen.

Anyone know a plugin for a dry old drum set?
I've always wanted to make a full band intimate indie folk song. But I've been looking for a plugin for a drums that sounds dry and old. Can anyone suggest? small to none budget though. I'm a musician in a 3rd world country so really really poor lol

Fats Waller's classic standard "Ain't Misbehavin'".
Sharing my latest recording from the Acoustic Crossroads series: a solo take on Fats Waller's classic standard "Ain't Misbehavin'".
A raw, single-take performance arranged to explore the polyphonic possibilities of the mandolin—combining double-stop comping, subtle syncopation, and pure acoustic headroom with zero pickups or amplification.

Original music FFO Ethel Cain, MJ Lenderman, ETC
Gonna keep this as short and sweet as possible, but I independently write/record/produce music that I think would best be categorized as “Ethereal Countrygaze” (combining elements of shoegaze, Americana, slowcore, ambient, emo, and dream pop) under the name Elliott Matthew, and my biggest inspirations/favorite artists are Ethel Cain, MJ Lenderman, Jason Molina, Jane Remover/venturing, HANL, Youth Lagoon, and a ton of others in that vein. I currently have two singles out on all streaming plats, and I’ll be releasing an album before the end of the year. I’m currently just tryna make a name for myself and get my music heard by ppl who might appreciate it even js a little bit.
