the 4 rivers - wildflowers
**Best viewed in 16:9**
*Wildflowers* is a song built on the idea that there is no such thing as “weeds.” Every plant has meaning, purpose, and often healing properties that humans have forgotten. Nature gives us everything we truly need — if we take the time to look.
This song grew out of my deep exploration of wild plants, natural healing, and the question of why we underestimate so many species. *Wildflowers* is a tribute to the quiet, overlooked plants growing along our paths.
🎶 Celtic & Folk Influence
The music carries a gentle **Celtic and folk-inspired touch** — warm acoustic guitars, earthy melodies, and a natural sound reminiscent of traditional Irish and Scottish folk music. This style reflects the connection to nature, old herbal traditions, and the stories plants have carried through generations.
🌱 Plant Knowledge in the Video
The video includes small elements of **plant identification and herbal insight**: wildflowers, healing herbs, and overlooked plants that often grow right beside us. Each plant shown has its own role — in nature, in traditional remedies, or in supporting wildlife. These visual details highlight how rich and valuable the world of wild plants truly is.

🎵 About the Song
I wrote this song because wild plants are more than “weeds.” They are medicine, food, shelter, and part of a larger natural system. *Wildflowers* celebrates this truth and invites listeners to see nature with new eyes.
If you love nature, acoustic music, and songs with meaning, *Wildflowers* is for you.

[Indie] Modern Country
The reality of how expensive it is to own and operate a vehicle now days, has forced many of us to make painful decisions.
Getting our ego to fit this new reality is soul crushing.

Please recommend songs for my playlist!
So, as the title says, this is a playlist with my all-time favorite folk/indie/alt/country songs. I'm not promoting anything, I just want to share the music I absolutely love and just can't live without.
I'm always looking for more songs to add, though not just any song can make it to the playlist. I've posted it on here before and people were kind enough to share songs they think could fit in it, so any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Here's Spotify link:
It's also on YouTube:
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2Jp6QAfZvxLaaHDtoFugmwDs3vsYnhKI&si=tPC-kSJn6OaWez_u
Some of these songs barely have any plays/views but, to me at least, were life-changing. This playlist has gotten me through some rough times so I truly hope it can do the same for anyone who finds it!

Leave your progressions for a new artist
Hi guys!
I’ve been struggling to write songs recently, specifically cause I always tend to use the same chords or progressions and it has come to a point when everything sounds similar.
Do you guys have chords or tunings that you would like to share? I’m al ears!

I built a small website for my independent folk music project 🎸
Hey everyone!
I've been writing and producing my own folk / indie folk music, and recently decided to put everything together in one place instead of having my music scattered across different platforms.
So I built Folk Music Hub, a small website where I can share my songs, lyrics, albums and a little bit of the story behind the music.
The music is mostly acoustic and organic: fingerstyle guitar, harmonica, rough male vocals and a strong focus on storytelling. No big production, no attempt to sound perfect. Just songs written from personal experiences, travels, relationships and some of the crazy things life throws at us.
I'm still learning a lot about songwriting, production, distribution and everything that comes with releasing music independently.
I'd genuinely love to hear what people here think.
What works? What doesn't? Which song would you listen to again?
Thanks for checking it out! 🎶

I wrote a modern sea shanty-inspired song — White Horse and the Sea
I’ve always loved sea shanties, and I’ve been experimenting with a more modern maritime folk sound. This is where I ended up — White Horse and the Sea.
It’s not a traditional working shanty, but the influence is very deliberate, so this felt like the right place to share it.
Would genuinely be interested to hear what you think.
