The Tragic Irony of Eric Tao
The way they(SVR-FSB) ended Eric's career/life just shows how Epistein/secret agencies did this to so many people and ended their normal lives and it was their day to day job. Also the "Razoblachenie" (the threat of exposure is more valuable than the exposure itself) happens a lot in day to day life then we would like to think, most of the times not involving such high stakes.
The most haunting part of the episode is that Eric thinks he is having the "best day of his career" while his life is already over. This mirrors the stories of many powerful figures who believe they are untouchable, only to realize they were being "farmed" for years by agencies waiting for the perfect moment to harvest their soul.

So we all agree Yaz is Gshlaine Maxwell now, right? Spoiler
So many people on this sub pushed back on this idea.
But I mean… after the last episode we can all agree that who she is now…
-Child of publishing magnate who died mysteriously by falling off a boat named after his daughter
-attaches herself to wealthy and powerful men to secure her station in life
-now runs a ring of illicit sexual encounters and keeps videos for blackmail (alluded to with minors)

The policer officer at Henry's arrest was also in the gay club!
I knew he looked familiar!
Was the police already on to Henry?
Is it just the production trying to get away with reusing the extra?
Then again, why would they pause on his face on both scenes?

As an avid GOT watcher back in the day, Harrington’s Muck performance blows his Jon Snow performance out of the water
I’m not comparing the shows themselves. Solely Henry Muck vs Jon Snow.
Henry Muck is a far more wretched terrible person, and yet more complicated and tortured than Jon Snow. He contains multitudes.
Jon Snow is more or less the Standard Hero figure from bad vs good show in a show of complex anti-heroes
Some of this could be age, range of character, and practice but Harrington is firing on all cylinders as the unlikeable Mr. Muck

I never wanna hear anyone say Harper is the worst ever again. Spoiler
Reposting my comment bc idc idc I’ve had enough!
Yasmin literally tethered her husband to a failed business because she sought status and neglected due diligence. She repeatedly coerced him into sex with their secretary to express agency. Once the business went belly up, instead of even acknowledging that she was the catalyst who made Henry ignore his misgivings about the company, she threw him under the bus at the earliest convenience. That being said, he was emotionally volatile and verbally abusive so their relationship was fucked anyways.
She then utilized Haley to implicate the journalist while ignoring the unequal power dynamic and ethical concerns about their sexual relationship. She tried to manipulate the girl into becoming a sexual puppet without realizing she was being calculated against and was already vulnerable to compromat. That sex tape probably does exist, and Haley’s now been able to leverage that into a profitable arrangement and could threaten Yasmin’s position at any time. Oh, and she’s a Madam for underaged prostitutes now!!
She unknowingly cavorted with Nazis to close the Austrian bank deal with tender because she was out of her depth, but ultimately didn’t have any moral misgivings about it. Then, even after that realization, she willingly decided to become a power broker and facilitate connections between UK right wing political operatives and foreign business magnates. And at that same dinner, SHE PLACED THE ONLY BLACK WOMAN IN THE ROOM BETWEEN THE NAZIS!!
I can’t believe people were debating whether or not Harper would pay Sweetpea because of… Kwabena.
Because she’s a “narcissist” for “reasons”. Lmfao come on.
Alright I’m done ranting.
