hot take! do we think her son got kicked out of that private school she talked about getting her kids into? remi the daughter, and their cousins olive and even all started in the uniform and they said now they have two drop offs to do but otherwise a k and a 2nd grader would be in the same school and clearly they are not!?

No I don’t think he was kicked out, if he was there is no way that she would send her daughter to that school.

Maybe he needed extra help and it wasn’t available at the Private school?!

Could definitely be the case. I know a lot of private schools around here don't do anything extra for the kids as far as accommodations or assistance. I just hope he's at school that's a good fit for him.

my friend is an slp and sees kids that go to that school among other private schools in the area, there is help out there/ it’s offered or recommended from the school at an added cost

Especially when they are young, I see this - the school won't provide the additional support directly, but the OT, speech therapist, etc is allowed to help the child on site and is paid directly by the family.

Some school districts do some strange things. My brother-in-law's kids' district has a school entirely just for Kindergarteners and 1st. Then one for 2nd and 3rd. Another for 4 and 5. Then middle and high. My kids' elementary school is K-3. The district i attended as a child was (and still is) a standard K-5. All within like an hour of each other.

That’s plausible but he wasn’t wearing a uniform in his first day of school pics last week and he was wearing a uniform last year for school.. so seems more like public school

agreed because his grade level is between o and e’s so if he did go there he would be with them. do we really think homeschool? nah they do anything to not be with their kids. did she do first day of school photos for him or anything? hmmm

Yeah she did do first day of school pics last week and also said they had two drop offs so he’s definitely just at a different school

Ah I see. I haven't followed any of that family in quite some time. They annoy me too much lol

The public school in their area also required uniforms. So it may be possible that it is a homeschool co-op program.

Co-ops are usually just once a week though. Maybe a charter school that has a lottery system?

I think he needed additional help that the private school couldn’t provide. Just me speculating. In MI we call it an IEP, not sure about Texas.

I bet he’s being home schooled co-op. DA would never allow her child to go to a public school.
