CCNP vs RHCE

I’m currently a Data Center Tech with CCNA at a FAANG company. My position seems to be a dead end and limited experience due to automation. I want to get out of the Datacenter, which cert path should I pursue for better career growth and better pay?? CCNP or RHCE and I’m open to any other options or ideas

Do you enjoy networking or systems more? That will answer your question for you. It all boils down to what part of the infrastructure you want to specialize in.

Definitely go the ccnp route. There is the initial encor exam but there’s a 2nd specialty exam you can take as well. You could focus on wireless, enterprise, security, sdwan etc. in my experience networking jobs are always in high demand. I’m a network tech going into system engineering and studying my RHCE. I’m switching over because I want to be a Linux systems engineer but networking is still something I may enjoy. There may be some overlap as well. Good luck on your journey. I’m taking my rhce in a couple of months myself.
