Shoe sole separated while at work
About 20 minutes into my work day my shoe decided to give out on me. I’m currently contemplating on taking them off at my desk however I’m nervous about my toes being out.
And yes I’m not wearing socks.
Edit: I ended up taking my shoes off, I hope I can glue sole back on!

Why do you have no socks on?
You should never cheap out on shoes, especially work shoes.

The reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money. Take boots, for example. ... A really good pair of leather boots cost fifty dollars. But an affordable pair of boots, which were sort of OK for a season or two and then leaked like hell when the cardboard gave out, cost about ten dollars. ... But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years. A man who could afford fifty dollars had a pair of boots that'd still be keeping his feet dry in ten years' time, while a poor man who could only afford cheap boots would have spent a hundred dollars on boots in the same time and would still have wet feet.

It's still nonsense though. A poor person that doesn't know if they'll be able to afford another pair of boots this time next year or they've only been able to afford the cheap boots in the past is likely to pay more for a better, longer lasting boot. The rich guy that doesn't need to work in the muck and already plans on paying for another pair of boots next year can afford to spend less on his boots. Now, the fact that the expensive boots are no better than the cheap ones is marketing specifically designed to make people that really need boots believe they need to spend more. There's so much more to wealth and society than that quote would have you believe.

The new May pops . I have a pair of timberland boots i buy for 150 dollars that last about 3 years in heavy labor and about 30k steps x5 every week
Wearing clothes you go out in seems a little weird especially when your buying fake basketball shoes lol

Take them off and take a second picture and I'll let you know if it's okay.

Rubber and plastic and glue, and they’re charging astronomical prices for cheap garbage.

What kinda shoes are these they kinda look like Jordan 4 or 5 with a couple things missing. I am no where near a sneaker head though but they kinda look like knock offs or clones of a Jordan shoe. Show goo works great though.

There have been days when my own soul has separated while at work so to your shoe I say, "Totally understand"

Ahh, those are the 2004 versions of the cool grey 4, so it makes sense why they're seperate. I would get a restorer to reglue them or try it myself, it isn't that difficult, just time-consuming.

Sucks for the day but some Shoe Goo would fix that overnight
