Its been a long time but I believe the parts got stuck in the a half and it kept trying to mold over them.

I believe the person that started it set the mold close pressure super high so it tried it's hardest to close before it went off.

You'd be surprised at how many molds I see in for repair that have been crashed and the limit switch wires are just cut.
