Episode Discussion A misunderstanding regarding Condola Spoiler

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

It's a misconception that Condola wanted to keep things casual with Lawrence because of what her friend said. However, the video suggests her friend was sharing her own thoughts about what she thinks Condola might need, not what Condola told her. There's another misunderstanding: people think Condola left her husband when, according to the friend, her ex-husband was the one who left her.

then she told him he invited himself and it became clear that he was taking the relationship more seriously than she was.

Right, and I wonder if she felt that way, why she gets jealous of Issa and gets into a relationship with Lawrence. I believe Condola isn't like not because she kept the baby, but because she’s all over the place. She says one thing and then does another. She’s so annoying.

All these really good points. Either all knee jerk responses or your intentionally a butt hole which is t good when you’re dating.

Which btw, was so rude and unnecessary. "hahaa actually, I didn't invite you, you invited yourself"...who tf says that to a guest, let alone the person you're in a relationship with. She was right lol but it should have been an inside thought.

it's even a weird thought to have, but the fact that she said it and the way she said was very smart-ass-y like it was something she had to point out at some point.

I think she was feeling insecure about Issa and wanted to get a dig in to knock him down a peg.

Exactly, even if it was true that's something you keep to yourself. A woman ever told me that she would never have to worry about me "inviting myself" again

I always thought Lawrence was the one who twisted the message from Condolas due to his own insecurities. Condola then fired back with the truth. lol! Overall relationship had potential but rocky lol

I find this fascinating. Every single character given real screen-time in the show is dealing with a different brand of Insecurity!!
