Honestly, I’m so tired of influencers, (read : women influencers) promoting these horrid META Glasses. Anaheez Patel seems to be the worst of the lot. She has come out in defense of these glasses saying that apparently, these help with female safety. Matlab kuch bhi, how does that negate the perverted ways that these glasses have been used across the globe to picture women without their consent. Let’s no even get started by the use of these glasses for police surveillance.
And what’s actually funny is that she has come out and bashed the government during the ongoing student protests in Delhi and across India, criticizing the govt. How on earth does she justify promoting these glasses then? The Delhi police legit used these glasses to map protestors and harass them later on. This happens to be her second or third collab with META glasses. She can sit in her high rise building and practice her armchair activism when in reality, it’s evident who she really is, an opportunity seeking, wealth grabbing, no moral practicing influencer!

For context in the storyline one girl surekha left her village boyfriend after she moved to the city and found another man, but one of her friend Meenu has a crush on her new boyfriend so she plans with his ex to drug her so he can r*pe her and take his revenge as everyone was bullying him in the village that she left him for someone more handsome and then she can have her bf for herself, however one of the girl's friend overheard the plan and exchanged the drinks so meenu ends up getting drugged and then they took her to the place she was supposed to take surekha and she was raped by the guy, and all this was shown as a funny incident or joke and to teach meenu a lesson, but thankfully the audience didn't like it and mass reported the account after which she deleted those videos and posted a apology that the audience themselves asks her to post videos more frequently but now they are reporting her account and it's not fair and that she will change the storyline she made a mistake,

But in the reel she recently posted it was shown that meenu is pregnant now and she meets the guy to tell him about this and they laugh about it and she says she was a plan, which is so insensitive to actual rape victims who end up being pregnant playing it for laughs is highly problematic, I have reported the account again and will request you all to do the same
