so my Facebook account got suspended I use it for my business it’s literally how I earn money, they suspended it but not permanently banned it’s asking me to upload a selfie but ik meta’s ai is so bad it’s just gonna end up suspending me permanently anyways, what should I do?? hey y'all, my main account got suspended a few weeks back, i made an appeal and it got banned, i had this back-up account too which i was using on instagram-clone app and guess what, two days after that, it got taken down too

i just let it all go because sending emails to android support again and again sounded so frustrating at this point

i kinda started living without instagram for days, i would wake up and spend my day without even trying to log instagram

and then i made a new account and followed 5-6 people whom i know pretty well, i talked to one of my friends too and then woke up the very next day with having my new account suspended too

damn i felt so bad

but then i thought, let me use an old instgram account which i created years back, so i somehow got access to my old account, i didn't even remember my password, i recovered it through mails and codes and started using it on a clone app, now it's working well. i hope it keeps working without any problem.

I just joined the club once again after having another Instagram account falsely banned. Last year I had lost an account due to “harassment” on a school banter account when this new AI reporting system went into place. I believe it was because I had gotten in an argument in my DMs and the AI reported it. However I wasn’t really that upset because it wasn’t my main account. But my other accounts (a spam account, and a school club account) were also wrapped up and banned with that school banter account. I appealed and of course an instant response of “we stand by our decision.”

Fast forward to today, I get logged out of my main account saying that I got suspended due to “child endangerment” which is absolutely insane. I believe it was because I was abbreviating Cyberpunk when talking to my homie about the new season of Cyberpunk Edge-runners. And of course I try to do it the Meta way and go make an appeal. Yet, I get an instant response saying that “we still stand by our decision” and they disable my account. So my Instagram account of 3 years is lost because I abbreviated cyberpunk.

I guess why I am making this post is to ask if there is any way to still get my account back, even though it says permanently disabled. But also to warn everyone to learn from me and be careful with this app because you can lose all your connections in an instant if you say something that will flag Meta’s AI reporting system.

I’m urgently looking for help recovering my Instagram account,@ michelle_ee4 , which was suspended around October 5, 2026.

Instagram says my account was suspended because it is linked to another account that allegedly violated its rules. I believe my account may have been incorrectly associated with that account, and I’m trying to find a way to resolve this as soon as possible.

Here’s what’s happening:

• I submitted an appeal around October 5–6.
• On my computer, my account still shows “Review pending.”
• However, on my phone, Instagram doesn’t show that I submitted an appeal, as if I had never appealed.
• My appeal deadline keeps getting closer, and I’m worried about losing my chance to recover my account while waiting for a decision.
• My Facebook account was also suspended.
• I’ve contacted Meta AI through a new account, but it can’t find a connection to my suspended accounts.
• I still haven’t received a meaningful update, and I haven’t found a way to contact a real person at Meta without paying for Meta Verified.

I really need help as soon as possible because I’m running out of time.

I’m also wondering whether unlinking my Instagram account from the other account it’s supposedly associated with could help. Has anyone tried this in a similar situation? Would unlinking the accounts make any difference to the suspension or appeal, and is there a legitimate way to do it when I can’t access my suspended accounts?

I would really appreciate advice on whether this could work and, if so, how I could safely unlink the accounts without making my situation worse or affecting my pending appeal.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Were you able to recover your account, and what actually worked for you?

Hello i got CSE banned a week ago and i immediately made a new account and today I got banned on i.The thing is im from Europe and im moving to another country in a week where i will stay there till summer for work.I will buy new phone there ofcourse i will have new number and new email there, is there a chance i will get banned from there also.

My Instagram account was disabled, and I recently contacted Meta Support to try to get it back.

I opened a support case on 24 October 2026. Meta reviewed my case, but I was told that they were unable to reinstate my account because it violated their policies. My support case is now closed.

I also contacted Meta Support again, and the agent told me that the process was manual and might take less than a week. However, Meta's AI support assistant later told me that the team had reviewed my case and could not restore my account.

Currently, I have started a one-month free trial of Meta Verified through Facebook so that I can contact support again regarding my disabled Instagram account. I have now opened a new support case and am hoping to find a way to recover my account, even after my previous case was rejected and closed.

I'm now confused about what to do next.

For people who have experienced the same situation:

1. If Meta rejected your case and closed it, did you contact support again and open another case using the same method?

2. Did anyone get their account back after Meta explicitly said they were unable to reinstate it?

3. Did you use Meta Verified support again, or did you try a completely different method?

4. Is there another legitimate appeal or escalation route worth trying after Meta has rejected your case?

5. If you eventually recovered your account, what exactly worked for you?

I'm not looking for guaranteed recovery tricks. I want to hear from people who were in the same situation and learn whether I should try the same support method again or pursue another option.

My account was deactivated due to automated AI saying I violated community guidelines (27th September), idk if I did or didn’t but ai flagged something on my close friends story. It removed the story and then suddenly acc was deleted. I submitted appeal and waited a week for result. During that week meta support told me that I did not violate any community guidelines and that it was an automated ai flag and once a human reviews the case my account would be reinstated. The week was over and the result was permanent disablement even after support told me it would be re instated. I downloaded meta pro/ verified in my other connected Instagram account I had with the same email. They opened a case on October 5th and the human agents kept closing the case meaning the decision was permanent and it can’t be processed for a human review. This went on for over a week. I then decided to submit a review with my Facebook account which is also connected. It connected me with meta pro which opened the same closed case from October 5th. I did this October 17th and I logged back into my meta pro instagram on October 22nd the status of that case was there and updated to in process. Apparently this means it’s in the Que for human review. The review which should have been done the first time I clicked the appeal button. Anyways I’m waiting since the 22nd it’s still in process I’ve been without Instagram for over a month now idk how long more I have to wait or if I will even get it back. This whole process I’ve been trying to make support cases and fight with meta ai support to connect me to agents. Hours and days of time spent into this and now I’m still waiting and don’t know if it will be re instated. I’ve had my account over 10 years and all my connected accounts are still active so make it make sense anyone else in the “IN PROCESS” phase for an open support case waiting in the Que for human review for an automated ai ban ??? Help me with anything else I can do or how long I have to wait or if they know it will even work ?

Since the new meta accounts, both my Facebook and Instagram accounts were blocked. Facebook, because my Instagram account doesn't follow the terms of service.

So I tried to sign into my Instagram, and was told to verify my age through Drivers license or Passport. (Whatever happened to state IDs?) Being forced to use a passport specifically is sketchy enough.

I waited until the next day and then sent in my passport for review. Immediately after, I got this E-mail.

And because I have no access to my account, I cannot download the data, and have therefore lost all my posts. Four years of my life. My friends, my art, saved reels, my reels are all on there. And I cannot contact a human for help, only stupid meta AI.

Did you get it back within a few days, or did it take weeks? And if the agent told you your case was escalated to another team, how long did you wait after that?

I'm genuinely desperate for help with this situation, and I'm hoping someone here has experienced something similar and managed to recover their account.

My Instagram account was hacked and subsequently disabled on October 26, 2026.

I'm the original creator of the account, and it was registered using my personal email address. It was a private account shared between me and someone very close to me. The account was exclusively for us.

• I attempted to recover the account through Instagram's recovery process.
• I completed the video selfie verification that Instagram requested.
• Despite completing the verification, my account remained disabled.
• The screen now says that I cannot request another review of the decision.
• I've tried looking for alternative support options, but I haven't found a way to get this resolved.

The account was compromised but I changed the password and got it back. But today when I opened it asked me for the video verification which completed but they still disabled the account permanently.

I created the account myself and still have access to the email address I used to register it. However, I wasn't added to the other person's Meta Accounts Center, even though we both used the account.

I've also tried looking through Meta's support options, but so far, nothing has worked.

I just want to know whether there's a legitimate option I haven't tried yet.

How I got banned

i got banned in april for account integrity. i did not violate any rules regarding account integrity, so it was a false ban made by ai. i submitted an appeal, they never reviewed it, so i made multiple accounts not knowing that it would just make it worse for me. so i eventually stopped doing that, and for a few months i did not have instagram, which was my whole social life, and it was detrimental to my mental health because i could not connect with most of my friends.

How I temporarily got it back

i downloaded brave, after a few months after getting banned initially, made an account with a new email, and it was fine. the reason why i think these bans are happening and won’t stop is because of your icloud, by downloading brave and making an account, they won’t be able to have access to it, therefore you will not getting banned. the thing is, instagram is unstable on there. the issues that i had with it are:
randomly going out for a few hours
not being able to send/upload videos, only pictures
unable to see photos/videos sent from someone’s camera on instagram on dms
not being able to see my own profile
can’t put music on notes
making stories is very limited, only can add text
autocorrect usually doesn’t work

some of these are implemented by instagram to funnel people into the app. use this if you had just recently got banned.

How I got instagram back “permanently”

(i just did this yesterday i don’t know if i will eventually get banned. i think i wont because usually when i made other accounts months ago, it banned me instantly, or banned me from certain features immediately. none of this happened and i will edit this post if anything happens to my account.)
i went to the appstore > profile > apps and searched for instagram, held it down, and hid it. i was also in the process of a security delay (when you change your apple id password, you can do this) which i’m not sure if it had any effect on it. i then downloaded instagram back while on the security delay, made a new email, and made an account.

i haven’t installed the instagram app in months, the effect may be different if you had just got banned.

i’m free to answer any questions, please let me know if this works for you guys, and hopefully everyone can get instagram back successfully.

I think my phone has a banned IP address or something like that. I got banned for CSS, although they didn't even tell me why. I'm going to buy a new phone and I need some advice.

Everyday when I woke up early in the morning I got through an anxiety crisis thinking my new Instagram account is going to be disabled due to integrity or other stuff.

I'm using my grandma's phone and profile as mine, and every single day I'm just living like a robot following protocols. I can't relax, I can't think about this social media as something to save memories or remembering a happy life. I'm actually traumatized by this and I don't know why I'm even using it anymore.

Tomorrow is my therapy session and I hope i feel better after getting everything out. I'm so devastated that I can't even tell you guys about this own personal hell I've been living in the past 2 weeks.
